Well, putting it into the Falador Library would kill it over the course of a few months, just so you know. I like the subforum idea, however. Maybe they could sticky a recruitment thread for the Hegemony in OT? I doubt a sticky would happen, but I'll try to work this out in the best way possible for us.

Alright, some moderators have contacted me over the past couple of days about the Hegemony thread, and what forum it fits under. There's pretty much a consensus that it doesn't fit under Off Topic, so we've been discussing where it should go. The current idea is that we get a subforum of the Falador Library for games similar to this, but I've proposed we get our own subforum specifically for the Hegemony game, which would make organization a lot easier. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great.

Depends how much I actually cared about the person. I mean, even though what they did was terrible, if I was going to marry them I don't know if I could just turn my back on them. Depends on the situation of HIV treatment and all that, since I doubt I'll get married for atleast 10 years, treatment may be much more advanced.

I have noticed these double posts have seen a huge spike in frequency since the board switch. I even made a triple post by accident once. It just goes so slow now, and if it didn't look so nice I'd have a problem. I think it's because the flood-stopper works in a different way. After clicking add reply, you can't open up a window to reply to another thread for a while, but if you click the add reply button from posting multiple times it will double post. The new system is sorta stupid. It means if I post something in one thread, I can't start typing a post for another thread for like a minute.

Think of it this way, the various terrorist groups in real life only have a few thousand members overall, probably. We've spent 8 years at war with them, with more troops than you have, and spending more than your entire budget a year in some cases. It's not like the rebels will be wearing a "I'm a terrorist" t shirt, they'll be almost impossible to find.

Dusty, by civilian infrastructure, I didn't include your wall. I could be wrong, but I think spending 80% of my budget for like 40 years would probably mean I spent more than anyone else combined.

My salary is under that on average, and I've spent more money than civilian infrastructure than the rest of the players combined.

Mather, I dispute that. Again with the real life=no research time. You weren't even around during a time when the US existed in this game. Plus, the US's one weighs 500+ pounds, and doesn't kill, and takes a ton more power than some laser pointers.

For rocky, I would say that it has way more mountainous terrain than not, but not 100%. Mars is counted as rocky. But I like your system. It is a surge in funding, but a necessary one. Recently we had a breakthrough in project CAD, and the final bit needs additional funding for it to be completed soon. 400 b has been diverted from quality of life improvement ongoing research, to CAD. EDIT: It's mostly equipment the money is going towards, rather than more researchers.
