  1. New topic: Entire world starves from massive economic crisis from adding arbitrary weapons to everything.
  2. Added to front page. And I did, ross, I probably should have specified that.
  3. It's really hard to find every post that lists a planet change, and then edit it in, so if I miss stuff, just remind me. I just put in the new systems, and edited what changes I could remember in.
  4. Your population won't grow by 3 million in one year. Ross, what was that list of systems you made earlier, and the map? I can't find it, I've been looking.
  5. My entire GDP is close to 5 trillion which probably increased 1% for something like 6 years due to the funding of infrastructure. It will become greater once colonies become profitable. Also hex I started with a fair amount of research into nuclear reactors which you do not have.I will post my total gdp with a 5% total growth after the estimates from 2080 I hope you mean 5% total, not per year. Hex, up until a few days ago, my gdp was 36 trillion ish per year, and my budget for fusion was 90b per year for most of that time.
  6. No one, yet. Well, some of the NWO have fusion nukes but those aren't that advanced compared to a reactor. I'm the farthest along, by far, as my budget for fusion has been pretty much equal to your entire gdp each year for the past 84 years.
  7. It seems fusion is impossible if not hot actually, I've done some research and found out fusion kicks in at 539999540.33 F. Man, the laws of physics are screwed up, seems I'l have to go cold to do small scale. *Starts cold fusion research* I've been working on it for 80 years. Have fun. Also, hex, you said your gdp was 300 trillion at the top of the page. Here's the math for your population: 10000000*1.03^7 Type that into google.
  8. Hex, why don't you get it? Even with 5% population growth per year you would barely break 14 million people.
  9. Remind me when you researched plasma windows? Ownage, what were those techs again?
  10. Ok, I'm gonna say you have a growth rate of 3%. The equation for that is 10,000,000*1.03^X. The X being the number of days since you started, assuming the growth rate is steady. I think it was like 7 days ago, you said, so that's 10000000*1.03^7=12,298,738 people.
  11. Hex, your math baffles me. If, on the 10th even you had 10m people. With an absurd growth rate rate of 5%, you'd still have about 14 million people. Since I started investing money in improving the quality of life for my people amount people make has raised by 12% in South America from a decade ago.

    Childhood Games?

Gears & Gadgets, and one of the really old indiana jones pc games come to mind.
  13. Thanks for that insightful comment.
  14. probably the x^y button. Or use google. Just type in the problem into the search engine, it has a built in calculator.
  15. It raises something to a power. 5^5 is 5 to the fifth 12^3 is 12 to the third EDIT: icuownage, I think having really advanced rail guns is probably gonna be your main starting tech if you have those. Also, we've been arguing about fusion for the past 3 days, so having a fusion reactor from nowhere is probably not the best idea. More edit: I think my have arrived at the system they left for 7 days ago. The 11 station ships of that fleet have deployed around the various terrestrial planets, and the colony ships have landed on the earthlike planet. Harvesters are being sent to the gas giants, and mining ships are starting mining in one of the system's two asteroid belts.
  16. Whoever had the fusion generator, graphite wouldn't help at all. The boiling point of graphite is 7592 F. Hot fusion reactions are hundreds or thousands of times that.
  17. Because black people are born white/white people are born black, amirite?
  18. Two years developing general hot fusion, five(I think) more years to make small less efficiant versions. And they're not bateries, they're generators. If you mean the ZPMs they're done January 23. How does the reactor not melt? To the new player, why would a sun make them have translucent skin? They would have extremely dark skin because of that. To whoever was saying that I need to update the first post more, believe it or not, I have school. And when school was over, tip.it was down. Oh, I got that idea from most movies I've seen with aliens from the sky, as they all seem to have organs showing and have a translucent skin. But I suppose your right, with all the fishes with translucent skin and such, so I will change it so they are all a darker colour, possibly purple or a full on black Maybe you could just make some back story for their skin, like the UV from their star helps them in some way or something.

  20. One of my colony ships is headed there, just for the sake of it. I'll start one small colony on each of the 4 little islands that are right next to eachother in the center of the map almost, once I get there.
  21. I think so, but Verizon makes it so if you send a text over 160 characters to someone not on verizon all the extra characters are deleted.
  22. Ah drat, I could have just sworn you said all rules from the other thread don't matter unless they're on this thread too. Check rule 5 by the way.
  23. His explanation was it disassembles atoms into quarks. Basically, he's splitting atoms. Nuclear Fission. I doubt his machine can withstand that, much less reassemble the quarks again. Nuclear fission, is atoms splitting into several lighter atoms due to decay, splitting the atoms into their building blocks aren't even near that violent, nor is putting them back together. Even though I'm guessing your wrong, I'll move on. Ok, new question, how do you split them into their building blocks, and put them back together. Hitting it with a high-energy particle. And how does this magically put it where you want it. And more importantly, how did you get the high energy particle to hit it, or have that particle in the first place. I'm pretty sure each ASSLOAD isn't a Hadron Collider.
