  1. Many diffrent ways, For example a large nuclear bomb implanted deep in the crust. You don't understand gravity, now do you?
  2. No it wouldn't Ok, how would you go about blowing up a planet? And blowing up planets is possible, but destroying islands is impossible?
  3. Blowing up a planet would take more energy than the dyson bubble would produce. Easily. And we aren't allowed to destroy islands in the game? That's news to me.
  4. In that case he could only find a big stellar map with planets and say that anyone who destroy a planet/sun has to cross that planet/system out themselves. Naquadah has been proven able to amplify any energy except cinetic and heat with the exception of in explotions, also while cunducting reseach on how it would work with different energies, when I tried a temperature over 200 Celsius and exposed it to microwaves it turned liquid and stayed that way even when it got back to room temperature. The difference between normal and liquid naquadah is that the liquid is lighter but less effective. So you randomly found a metal that breaks the laws of energy conservation, and then also ignores logic by not going back into a solid state?
  5. High five for another Journalist. I think what they mean is that you can figure out peoples motives easier than others.
  6. Lent, once again we have the same personality types, I remember you were one of the few people that were the same as me.
  7. I can dream lucidly if I prepare myself before I sleep, or if I'm lucky. I would recommend trying to figure out how to do that (google it, some stuff is helpful)

  9. He was not the last but he sacrifised his life to save the rest. No, in the book, he was the last. Thanks. They just threw the I am Legend bit onto the end of the movie in a way that sucked, just so they would have some reason to use them name of the book. THE ZOMBIES WERE JUST AS INTELLIGENT AS HUMANS. THEY WEREN'T ZOMBIES, THEY WERE CLOSEST TO VAMPIRES.
  10. The only new reports on what is going to the building are more lasers and some unidentifiable crystal-like rocks/objects.
  11. I always interpreted the book in that the character thought of the Vampires like humans thought of vampires, evil, and legendary, mythological and so on. The point is that the vampires thought of him the same way, as a monster, and since he was the last human left on Earth, he was rare, and became a legend. I phrased that badly, but, meh. There's no arguing though, they weren't zombies. I thought the newest movie wasn't that great because the name was the only real thing it shared with the book, other than a few hints and the real ending, which was taken out.
  12. Yeah, the mannequin was put their by the vampires. The trap might have already been there, but it was set for him. Also, the vampires didn't know where he lives, until they followed them back, judging by how he responded.
  13. I think we shouldn't have anymore random changing races for humans. Trol is fine, since it's not too impossible, and he's actually researching it. But no more roccos, or mage man random changes. If you want to start with a whole new race on the next thread, you start over.
  14. What the hell kind of ecosystem did they evolve in to end up looking like that? They would say the same about us.
  15. He trapped himself with a manekin and wire(as he was going mad), the two dogs came alone and the zombies folowed the boy and girl when they rescued him after his killing spree. No, the two dogs were on leashes, the mannequin was one of the vampires (Or atleast was put there by one of them) and they came back to rescue the vampire that he had in his house, which was the wife of the leader infected (The one that roars). So tuching the menequin just happened to trigger one of his own traps? The trap was his, the dogs had to wait until the sun got all the way behind the buildings and the zombies were atacking his house every night, only the kids forgot to baricade the windows. You saw that same mannequin in the store the day before. And the trap was set up by the vampires. The vampires didn't attack his house every night. That's why when they actually attacked, he set off all the explosives. They came in through the roof anyway, not the windows. Are you done yet?

  17. Well, in the movie, they ambushed him, they set a trap for him (with the infected in clothes outside the movie store) they controlled dogs (With leashes), and came to rescue one of their own.
  18. They are not inteligent, they just know how to crawl and punch. And if you are imune they'll try to kill you instead. Yeah, they're intelligent. They're vampires. Read the book. Or, barring that, watch the real ending of the movie that doesn't ignore all the hints towards it in the rest of the movie. Ok so my uncles(now dead) dog was inteligent because it managed to give me an uppercut? Try first finding out how mouch they have in common with vampires then zombies, not hard to do the final math there. WTF is that "real" ending you're talking about? Try reading the book. The real storyline is that the vampires, which were the people not killed by the disease but not immune had their own fully functioning culture, but the main character (let's call him will smith), thinks they're just violent monsters, so he kidnaps and experiments on them, killing dozens. To them, he is the real monster, and is told in stories, thus "I am Legend". The vampires are slowly adapting to be able to be in sunlight for some time, and are trying to rebuild culture and society. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Am_Legend And get the movie on dvd, and watch the original ending, which is more true to the book. Apparently test audiences didn't like it as much so they filmed the ending for the released version, and put that out instead.
  19. There is no way anyone could block a bullet with their mind. Reason: a bullet travels at over a thousand fps, usually, if not more. From 20 feet away, from a Desert Eagle, you'd have approximately 0.0125 seconds before you died. In other words, about a tenth-1/40th of a blink. The reptiles guys all have pros and cons, and they're a whole new race. You can't just say, oh, I want to be able to expend a ridiculous amount of energy with my mind which would cause my brain to shut down due to the amount of energy needed, in a way with no explanation on how I do it. @ Mather, magnetics yes, but gravity no. A gravity gun uses gravity, not magnetics.
  20. Fish People-> Pro: Can breath underwater, but can't go too deep. Con: Are more affected by heat Gills are vulnerable Telekinesis: Pros: THEY CAN MOVE [cabbage] WITH THEIR MINDS
  22. Gravity guns are just as illogical, I think. Telekinesis is just stupid though...
  23. So how big exactly is a helios sphere? And a better description of it other than it's a defensive platform. Because if they cost 3.75 billion for 150, they are probably about the size of a tv, if you're lucky. Getting them into space would cost as much as building them too.
  24. Mather, how big is the city? Ross, they're related, but it's not geothermal.
  25. That was intense. Ign Rewind on it: http://video.ign.com/dor/articles/961088/ign-rewind-theater/videos/mw2_rewind_010509.html
