About 60-70% of the people in this thread mentioned being anti-social, or said something that implied it. It's kind of interesting how the internet attracts personality types. As for me, I can be a [Female Dog] online sometimes without meaning too. They really need to make it so that word I had to custom-censor has a different censor than the f word.

Ross, are you selling the designs for supercomputers or the computers themselves? Because if I were just to buy a computer, I assume it would probably have some secret way for you to take control of it if you felt like it, in accordance with how this thread works in general.

I proposed it originally because I didn't know about the other, plausible means of ftl, because everyone wanted ftl. I meant that for the other thread, where lightspeed could be possible by unrealistic means.

Or we could use the Mass Effect system of travel. That works.

Just say that your were going to (a movie, downtown, whatever) and ask if she wants to come. Worst case scenario, she says no.

In any case, I'm developing what I think will be the best personal body armor in the world. It will use a principle similar to the modern day Dragon Skin armor, only with some noted improvements. We're also in the process of producing a few new bullet types for the guns we finished designing a week or so ago. Rocco, yours doesn't, but considering how much time and energy it would take to produce a dyson sphere, ships could only travel like once every week in real life time.

Either way, you still don't know where the Guerrillas are.

I'm talking about not a direct hit anyways the point of using spec. ops would be to not let them see you until an incendiary round is between their eyes. Good luck hiding a giant metal suit about twice the size of a normal person in height. Plus, metal is really loud when walking around. Sorry.

RPG's fly at close to 300 meters per second. Good luck dodging that. That's 30 times faster than Usain Bolt. Heh.

They aren't rebels. Technically trol was the rebel. I just call them that because it's easier. Grim, exobreakers aren't invulnerable. A high powered bullet will pierce the armor, an rpg would wreck them.

Whoops. I meant that 40,000 are still alive and fled the country, another 55,000 are still hiding out all over the territory.

All of this interstellar stuff should work like this: Once we get warp drives in this thread, interstellar can start. Warp drives, by definition cause time travel in some form, so we can say there was an accident, and the second thread is in an alternate reality, where faster than light (Maybe 10-20 times faster normally) can be powered by a good ship's generator, and most of the energy expended somehow is re-used. Ships with really advanced reactors could go maybe faster than that. Physics would remained mostly unchanged, but I personally would be a lot more lenient. But this probably won't be for a month or more. Maybe we'll start it in 2010 real life. I dunno. Anyway; It's dusty's alliance pretty much. He can do whatever he wants with it. If the others don't agree with the rules, they can leave. 40,000 rebels are still alive, and the leader escaped the capital of Kazakh. They have fled the country, and shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Tanzania traded to Aether for their part of the US. We have also given them our current nanotube technology. Construction on habitats in central america have been postponed until they are completed in the former Aetherian US. [hide=][/hide]
