  1. Okay, I'll update the map. Which countries did you take control of? EDIT1: I will go ahead and put your flag in. Instead of your area being coloured pink, would you like some type of light cream colour or pale golden yellow?
  2. I'll send a few scientists there. I've been wanting to look into establishing colonies on Antarctica or on some extraterrestrial moon/planet. I thought about creating biodomes on Antarctica, which can serve as refugee colonies during the outbreak of a war or natural disaster. (I'm not sure if this is too much like terraforming.) The biodomes can protect humans from the harsh weather on Antarctica and make a comfortable environment. Basically, cities can be built inside these things and artificial lighting can be built in the domes, to serve as the sun since Antarctica has many days in which the sun isn't showing.
  3. If we ban these strategic weapons (ICBMs, EMPs, etc), there will have to be some kind of international peace treaty with the most powerful nations. If the smaller nations go to war, sure, they can use conventional warfare and stand more of a chance. However, if a large, wealthy nation was to go to war against a smaller nation, that nation would either 1) surrender, 2) destroy itself, or 3) get taken over. Right now, strategic weapons sort of serve as something similar to MAD. With EMP devices becoming more common, as well as ICBMs, nations would be deterred from using them against each other because they know that there'll be a retaliation. I see what you're saying, actually. Okay, its fine the way it is. I have proceeded to move troops into both Afghanistan and Pakistan, they will soon be claimed by Iran, at which point I am going to change my countries name into something more awsome. [/hide] Middle Eastern Republic? Nah, probably something that is totally irrelevant to geography, but chosen just because I think it sounds awesome. Of course, if I can't think of anything, I'll go with that until I can. New Babylon? Persia?

They are being offered a chance to move to Canada. If Canada gains Alaska, there will never be peace on that continent. Alaskan residents are being given the option to pick up their belongings and move to Canada.
  5. [hide=Proposed map, unofficial][/hide] I have created an unofficial map which shows the land in North America that can potentially be claimed by the four countries. We just need a mutual agreement. We can also create some sort of Union that allows for a peace treaty and free trade if necessary. I am thinking about giving India a few more days (RL time) for the person that plays it to let us know that he's still interested in the thread. If he doesn't make any sign of showing any interest, I will make India a grey zone, which is a temporary period in which a country is made unclaimable until we can figure out if the person is still in play. During this time, I will send the owner a PM asking him if he still wants to play. If he doesn't, I will downgrade India to a white zone, which means that it's up for grabs. I'm not sure if any of you agree with me on this issue. If you don't, I'll just leave India in play and we can pretend that it interacts still.
  6. I actually like this idea. There would probably be too many problems if Canada took Alaska since Russians are pissed off IRL for selling Alaska to the United States. I think Dusty's idea would make the most people happy. Perhaps Euro-SA ownership of the northern part of North America could create some sort of North American Union and thus provide free trade between the nations? To get around the USA Doomsday event destroying Alaska, you could simply say that Alaska gained its independence during America's latter years. And if we do this deal, I will allow the remaining English-speakers (former Americans) free access into Canada if they do not want to be under Russian rule in Alaska. I understand that a lot of them still remember the days of the Cold War between Russia and the USA, so if they don't want to put up with it, they're welcome in Canada.
  7. I agree. If someone is having fun in a way that doesn't hurt anyone else, mind your own damn business. And I'm going to state this again. NO team-based minigame is fair. As long as there are teams, people will always rush to the winning side, thus making it stacked against the other team. At least with fixed games it's as fair as we can possibly make it. Until Jagex finds a way to fix the problems with team-based games, they should just leave them alone and focus on more important things.
  8. Portugal joining T4R would be extremely unrealistic, considering that you share the same language, some of the same culture, and were once a Portuguese colony. Though there would be some resentment from that, the Portugese would be more willing to join a country that they have legitimate ties to rather then mine. The same applies to Canada. Canada would only join countries that it has ties with. Since it was a former colony of mine, it would most likely on join me, some other Anglo nation, or remain independent. They also wouldn't join Germany since they don't share the same language, plus the fact that they were enemies of Germany during WWII and wouldn't be interested in taking part in any kind of Reich. The only Canadian territory that could realistically go to the Germans would be the generally unpopulated northern islands, minus Prince Edward's Island (I'm not sure if it's in that area or not). However, Quebec joining the Brazilian Empire is a possibility as they have a desire to separate themselves from Canada anyway, as well as the fact that they share a similar language and possibly a more similar culture. I'm not trying to strong-arm you because you want to annex Canada, but I'm stating what would be more realistic in this case.
  9. 1) Legalise marijuana (would cut down on a lot of drug trafficking since it's a commonly sold drug) 2) Tighter immigration laws/militarise the borders I've seen these sick [bleep] videos before. They tape the executions of rival cartel members. The best way to combat them is to burn down all of their buildings and execute them on sight.
  10. Denmark is not part of Findenland. The "den" part is from Sweden. Also, I don't think I even did guarantee the independence of Findenland. Oh, I see now. Gotcha.
  11. Will do. [hide=World map][/hide] [hide=Small flag icons] (Australia) (Iran) (Britannia) (Brazilian Empire) (Germany) (Russian Empire) (Venezuela) (Findenland) When editing the map, please use only "Arial Narrow" font. Thanks.[/hide] I am done with the map. However, I couldn't shade in Belarus since whoever originally edited the map erased all boundary lines. If anyone has a solution to this problem that doesn't involve redoing the entire map entirely, I would be grateful. Doom, if you are annexing Canada, I'd like to point out something that would seem more realistic than them simply joining Brazil. Canadians are English-speakers and have more ties with Britain. However, Quebec is a separatist province of Canada and would have more in common with Brazil because of the languages (French and Portuguese are more in common than English and Portuguese). The English-speaking part of Canada would probably either join the Britannian Empire or just remain independent. Quebec has a higher chance of joining the Brazilian Empire. @Dusty, didn't you say that you have guaranteed Findenland it's sovereignty? With your invasion of Greenland (which belonged to Denmark, which is part of Findenland), aren't you basically violating that promise?
  12. Welcome to the American Dream.
  13. I'll update the map later to include Iran's new flag. I can also include Bulgaria's flag to the side of the country, rather than over it. God dammit, I don't want to fight Nazi velocirapters taking orders from zombies. Would make for an awesome movie though. It would be more plausible to have Nazis riding dinosaurs while throwing wolves equipped with laser beams attached to their heads at their enemies. EDIT: Can a mod merge this post with my above one, please? Just edit the initial post with your second and just say double post in the second one. No one will care :P ~ Lionheart_0
  14. Though we have not directly said "yes" to your agreement not to attack us as long as we do not interfere, we still have honoured Germany by remaining neutral. Despite the buildup of our military and defences, these are merely for the purpose of protection. Despite our disagreements with the war, we remain isolationist and try to stay out of foreign affairs.
  15. Not really. The most dangerous countries don't need ICBMs to wipe each other/other countries off the map. They already have vast armies that can obliterate other countries easily. The only way the treaty would work is if a country that is attacked/or is danger of getting attacked by the instigators of WWIII receives strong military support from Brazil, the only other major superpower besides Russia and Germany. Without that, you are basically asking other countries to allow the Axis to take them over. Even though the war is "almost" over, there are still countries that are getting taken over. I think Russia is still planning to invade Australia. Germany is still technically at war with Luxembourg, and Mediterranean countries are slowly (or swiftly) being taken over with little ability to defend themselves.
  16. Oops, I missed that. Holland's shade is actually a little darker than Britannia. I tried to keep from using too many bright colours. There's still a "Holland" by the country, so that'll have to suffice now. Sorry for the confusion.
  17. [hide=Updated map with small flag icons][/hide] I hope it looks better. I didn't divide it by hemispheres yet because I was afraid of butchering it. If anyone would like to sort that out so it's easier to look at, go ahead.
  18. I'm going to change the colour-coding on the map and add little flag icons to make it look better. Right now, it's an eyesore. I'll also split it by hemisphere.
  19. I've actually heard that Jagex is planning to release a Construction update over the next few months. I doubt it'll be anything worthwhile though. Two things Jagex ruined that were better off left alone: Tok-xil in player dungeon (made it smaller than a player. was as big as the ones in the fight caves) and the Large orrery (made it small, it's like as wide as one bookshelf now...) Jagex also hasn't released an option to rotate rooms (only makes sense). You have to delete the entire room and everything in it and rebuild it and remake the furniture. It doesn't seem very plausible from a realistic POV. Also, not many people, including those with high Construction, actually put expensive furniture in their houses as they rarely use them. The only high-ish level furniture anyone really wants is the gilded altar. A demonic throne is also desirable, but a lot of people wouldn't make one even if they could.
  20. Dusty, I've seen AK-47s for sale in the States before, so I assume that it's legal for some odd reason. I live in Dixie, so there are a crapload of guns here. I've shot some pistols, .22 rifles, and shotguns at targets before. They're pretty damn fun, but the recoil from shotguns can make them harder to shoot if you aren't too familiar with them. .22-Caliber rifles have little to no recoil to them and are much quieter to shoot. Pistols are fun, but if you have to load a new shell into the chamber by pulling the top part back, you have to be careful how you hold it when firing. The top part has a tendency to pinch the living hell out of you if you aren't careful. I've also shot Civil War-era reproduction rifles. Those things are kind of fun and you can see the flames come out of the barrel. It sucks that you have to open the black powder pouch with your teeth when reloading. Black powder tastes kind of like salt if anyone wanted to know.
  21. Just asking, what exactly destroyed the USA and China?
  22. We are sending diplomats to New Zealand, the Netherlands, the Bahamas, and Jamaica.
  23. To be honest, they could still do the race thing but only make elf, Icyene, and vampyre as alternatives, since they're humanoid. That would help prevent any drastic changes to movement and such. For example, to become a vampyre, you could simply just get bitten by Malak. To become human again, you could just find a priest that can "heal" you and purify your body of all evil.
  24. I'd choose to be a vampyre as long as I could bat teleport. (Similar animation to the Trick emote)
  25. I hope they make something like that so I have an idea what to make my 30th room to be. They ruined the POH tok-xil by making it a midget, so I don't want one anymore. Saves me 5M.
