How do YOU feel Christians/other religions are treated?
Well this religious thread comes to my mind right away. It's the reason why I even made this. Someone was having a discussion about dreams that are messages from God, and it got flamed. This was created before the ban on these topics, so it's most likely dead/locked.

How do YOU feel Christians/other religions are treated?
Okay I've noticed that many topics in this forum are biased toward 'there is no God, anyone who believes in God are all fools.' Many Christians feel they are unfairly treated (as well as anyone who practices another religion). You can go to a topic with many atheists on it, say it's about evolution, and you'll see a flame war. The Atheists will call the religious people 'ignorant zealots' and make posts like 'Get the hell off this thread; any religious posts will not be tolerated and will be reported.' I do not believe that someone should be criticized for their faith. I mean if Christians are right, they'll go to Heaven, and Atheists will all go to hell. So what's the use of Atheists getting so pissed off all the time? Instead of 'These ignorant zealots will not keep a civilized conversation, it's quite the contrary.' How do you believe people are treated for their faith?

Because they're idiots on the official forums? I saw one guy trying to say on the rants forum that crafting blow pipes looked like crack pipes.

Spanking children, is it wrong?
Ooh, yah baby! Spanky Spanky! Spanking is good for you! lmao!

Spanking children, is it wrong?
WHY does everyone seem to think that? No parent does that. If they do, then they're idiots. It's more like "Go to your room, no reading, no game boy, NO NOTHING". That argument is getting old and not true. Then the kid is playing Game Boy with his finger on the "off button" listening carefully for his parents. Why not have the kids door open and randomly check in? Children could easily hear their parents walking to their door. Won't work... It's easy for the kid to pretend not to be doing something.

Yup @ Dark Even if they "forbid" us to use it, we could just shut the door and pretend to be off of it but still be playing the living hell out of the Xbox or whatever.

9/11 Commision LIES
So are you about to blame it on the Jews? I see overwhelming evidence that you are about to pin this on the Jews.

9/11 Commision LIES
Well if the government did cause this event to profit off it, then how come they didn't do a better job of concealing it?

Are you interested in/fascinated by any other religions?
Catholocism isn't a religion...it's a denomination of Christianity...

Would it be inappropriate for me to say that I'm fascinated by skinny monks bowing down to a big fat guy? Okay that might've been offensive to some Buddhists, but you got to say it is kind of funny in a certain way if you know what I mean.

Affirmative Action
I'm against affirmative action. I've learned that it was meant to be short-term, yet it is still around, even after like ... 20+ years? Anyways there's a prime example at my school. It uses racism. Say I'm white and I can't go to a school that's 88% white. They claim I must be a minority in order to attend the school or I'll upset the 'racial balance.' Well for one, the school's already imbalanced, adding me wouldn't hurt. So it's basically unconstitutional because it is descrimination of race. It shows favoritism toward minorities, rather than everyone having equal opportunities. The minorities get extra benefits. That's not fair.

9/11 Commision LIES
Maybe the government payed the conspiracy sites to say that about them so people think the government is all-powerful.

Tip.It Times Presents: Jagex and Emergent Gameplay
We're just saying that if Jagex wishes to continue forward, they must let some glitches stay in the game as it is brought about by creativity; however, if it could be used to scam, etc, then yes, remove that glitch. Obviously we have good intentions toward Jagex or we wouldn't even publish these articles about our opinions. Jagex might not like the idea of their software not working out the way they originally intended, but they must just let it run on its own. How do you think Blizzard with World of Warcraft is so successful? People are quitting RuneScape just to play WoW.

Lunar Island bug or a hidden update?
Well that sucks. I was going to take friends to "tour" Lunar Isle after I got Lunar Diplomacy done. :( bug abouse Not really. They can get bent for all I care. Bug abuse is when someone uses it for an unfair advantage. Someone that was brought to Lunar Isle and they're not supposed to be there have no advantage. They can't even do any thing there except look around and get their hopes up to do the quest themselves.

Tip.It Times Presents: Jagex and Emergent Gameplay
I would like to disagree with what you are saying here Andrew. It seems that you guys at Jagex have given runescape a sense of fear and caution when it comes to some cases of emergent gameplay. Many examples of emergent gameplay in other games evolve from glitches or bugs, such as the cliff teleport in Wow or the bugs in Gunz allowing players to cancel out certain reload times on weapons by switching weapons quickly and shooting again. The developers of these games left these in because although they were bugs, the players embraced them followed by the developers. A key example of how this is the opposite in rs is the castle wars bug where players were turning into sheep and imps outside of the area. Since the rules of runescape say that any bugs or glitches must be reported and not abused, there is an overwhelming response to things like walking around outside of castle wars as an imp. Massive amounts of players would follow you around reporting you for bug abuse and telling you that you are going to get banned. This type of paranoia about banning is because of the Jagex policies, and yes this is the same type of behavior that stifles emergent gameplay. As developer of runescape I'm sure you see it differently but coming from a veteran rs player, myself and many other people included are actually wary of having fun with some unintended effects that we find in the game because people are so scared of falling under this umbrella term of "bug abuse" Yes! My friend telegrouped me to Lunar Isle (though I wasn't supposed to be there) and now he's paranoid about someone else finding out and reporting him because they want to become a player mod so they can abuse power and have it easy while buying/selling. The other people on Lunar Isle could care less if I qualify to be there or not. Actually they kind of enjoy it because not a lot of people are there. True bug abuse would be the Falador Massacre where a group of people went around PKing from Falador to Edgeville.

The Malignus Mortifier talks about Necromancy. He says that the Wizards will not accept him into their Order or something along that line.

~ W6 Dking = luring noobs and bad luck ~
If your friend teleported instantly on the second encounter, shouldn't you have done the same? To be honest, it doesn't take but 1 or 2 seconds to click on a teleport tablet.
