- If you're in a clan, as a staff member - would you consider making a junior clan? (note: a junior clan are members of around level 75-100 who can train up for a senior clan) Yes we are doing so actually now. Well more like re-opening with a twist. - Do you think junior clans will come back, or have a future in RS? This is a decision that can not be made by simply one clan doing it. We have actually talked with a couple clans about Juniors clans recently and they have stated that if TF reopened they might attempt to reopen their junior programs as well. The decision of re-opening of junior clans I believe in the long run could help expand the clan world. I however do not think the clan world is small. I think it is just changing from what people are used to so people flip out and say its dieing. The old clan world is slowly moving out of the way for a new age and if you do not change (while still keeping your core principles) you will slowly dwindle. - Could junior clans improve the quality of the members eventually joining the senior clan? Junior clans are what the senior clan make it. TF would be a little different from what people were used to in the past but its #1 goal would remain the same: Training people and introducing lower levels into what a higher level clan.

Ah sportdemon. This guy was in 'THE' and we dont allow multiclanning. Ended up retiring and making this clan. When we confronted him about it he lied about it and said he was just a clan friend but everything was under his name. Was kicked for both lieing and multiclanning. Shows the character of the leadership I guess. Gl though

Yay at them boosting Melee even more, giving it even more of an upper hand against Magic! I don't get it. Magic is in dire need of an update, Melee isn't! You are aware that boosts in mage also increase max mage hits now right? You can almost hit way better with mage now. It got an update when the herb update was released because they made it so mage pots now increase damage. And if you use this new set of prayers properly you take melee's biggest advantage away in specs. There is a spec drain in the prayers.

In 2 weeks time we will be turning 10 years of age. In case anyone is wondering how a clan can be older than the game they play, 'THE' was formed in a pre-Runescape game called Cyber Wars. We have been around for quite some time and although my time in 'THE' has been no where near 10 years it has been a great experience. We have planned assorted events for the entire week in which the details can be found here on our forums: http://forums.theclanrs.com/index.php?showforum=240 A few of our members have been working on making an "All THE & TF ever list" and it has been a real huge project. It now boasts over 1200 members and there are many many that have still not been added. The thread to be added to that list can also be currently found in that thread as well. I am still sometimes amazed at how many people in the clan world have been touched by 'THE' and/or TF at sometime in their life. THE clan is also on a mission to try to get some sort of orange team cape in which a topic was made earlier but was closed sadly: QFC 82-83-813-59604504 In a time of closure for many clans it seems that some of the truly oldest clans have continued to thrive and I was wondering what some may think of this? I am sure there will be those that say these older clans are dead and that is to be expected. Some of us are not where we have been in the past but we still war, pk, host events, and as far as I am aware show no signs of stopping. Personally 'THE' has been pulling as low as 60% to as high as 80% ml pulls to prepped fights recently Many of these clans have gone through many ups and downs and changes in leadership have occurred yet they still are around and many of them are consistently active at least in the top 25. Is it the ideals of these clans that keep them from going against the test of time? Thoughts? P.S. Thank you to any clan or member that shows up to our birthday we are hoping that this is the biggest birthday for us since the beginning. That can only happen with the participation of the clan world.

They are currently working updates to cc's that will benefit clans. Being able to change ranks from accounts that have been granted access (leadership). Also I believe they are working on "Tags" for clans (not sure how they will be granted). This will be something tied to your rsn and not like display names. As for the CWA stuff I am not sure about. Jagex has been working on alot of clan updates lately.

tbh every once in a while ill post. but it is usually in response to something. however when needed ill make a post when i feel people need to hear stuff. but what i really am? i am the person that maxed out so i could tell other people to train. i am the person that trained agility so i could tell others to do it. as events team i got the quest cape so i could host any sort of event. i built an altar so i could host open altars for the clan. i return so that others will feel like they have a clanmate they can count on that will be there from start to finish. i lead more by example than by words. you want people to be active, to train, to be a good clanmember? do it yourself.

tbh im quite surprused that people still rank RR so high. top clans i agree with up til about 14. here is where it might be dif for me 15] Wilderland - can pull huge opts 16] The Runescape Warhungers Clan - fighting WL today we will see how it goes 17] 'The' Clan - (we have beaten all below and will be looking to go for one of the above very soon) 18] The Neggas Clan - usually try to bring into aussie time zone. have been known to not follow rules in fights i.e. return 1-iteming, blast when not allowed, attitude goes with the clan name. 19] Lithuanian Forces - dealing with some problems but always a pleasure to fight 20] Chivalry Legions - weird thing about this clan is they are aussie so will probly not get to their potential 21] Rune Raiders - no clue why they keep getting ranked in top 15 when their performances show otherwise lately 22] Blacknights 23] The Call of Legends 24] The Gladiatorz 25] Forgotten Templars

first off any person that actually stayed this whole fight obviously doesnt have a gf since it was on valentines day. secondly this 1 fight is 1.5 times the most i have really ever played on rs in one day. this length of time isnt even about skill anymore it is about which clan is willing to throw money down the drain. from what i hear corr pretty much was winning the whole fight and got tired of df dragging it out so corr walked out. ah well no clan imo won this fight though

warring the same clan over and over can be a good indicator of how you are progressing. i know that has been what we have used it for. and safe to say we have been getting better throughout the months

Starting: 'The': 48 RHK: 62 Ending: 'The': 57 People - 280 Kills RHK: 43 People - 263 Kills Perseverance through the fight won us this one. It wasn't a bad fight fought for RHK. I think this comeback was even greater than Britney's. In the end, we managed to pull away with our clan working together. 'The' had been challenged to a fight this Sunday by RHK for TWR. We knew that RHK would want this win in order to gain momentum for the future. We knew that RHK have the capability of pulling possibly 60-70 people and that we would at least pull near that to stay in the fight. The fight was pretty early for some of our late-night ESTers and even earlier for our PSTers. We knew this day and timezone suited RHK but we still managed to pull a respectable 48 which quickly rose over 50, compared to RHK's impressive 62. The fight was extremely equal throughout, both of us staying on the same kills but 'The' having 5-10 people less throughout the first 30 minutes. The next 15 or so minutes, RHK controlled the fight and we were on the backfoot, our snipe unit not performing well and our tanking being below par. RHK managed to get 20 or so kills ahead of us until we pumped ourselves up and turned it around. In the last 45 minutes, we koed each and every RHK, our binds stepped up, we were tanking better and our spam was amazing. We peaked at our highest for well over a year at 57 people and ended with the same, maintaining 40+ on TS throughout and ended with 50+. Going into the portal we started with 48 to their 60, being this much down was certainly at a disadvantage but not a clincher for the outcome. As 30 minutes went by it was really close, but we found RHK inching away from us. At the max they had a 20 man lead. We knew that if we were to win this, we would have to perform better, faster, longer, stronger. That's exactly what we did. Once we closed the gap in members fighting wise, we managed to inch back into a tie. Overall, I would like to thank RHK for giving us a fight that was close, we really needed it. Keep it up.
