Glad we were able to get something. It took quite a while to get this fight so I think quite a few people had left expecting not to get action. I personally came when we had already started fightin HR (thats what they called themselves). Glad we were able to keep 100+ opts with so many of our members on break right now. Btw the spamming today was absolutely awesome. Confident in our Dota/LoL group (i prefer dota/HoN). Have a group of members/ex-members that play dota pretty often. Some of them are mediocre and others carry.

We p2p a decent amount. Have talked about this new weapon. Its decent for 1v1's against a person in full melee gear as its more likely to hit high (since its mage based in the spec). It is an okay substitute for zammy spear as a stab weapon. The 250k cost makes it alright to mess around with but nothing too serious for us.

If you want a clan that does it all I think we might be a clan for you. I am a leader of THE Clan and we have a little bit of everything to offer you. We do warring (both pvp/cwa), pking (f2p/p2p), bossing (gwd/corp/tdz), fun events (minigolf/skilling/teamspeak), etc. We are mainly based in the USA although we do have a fair amount of GMT. Our event times cater to a wide range of timezones so I believe this would fall within what you are looking for. Based on what you have written I do think our clan would be a nice fit but in the end that is for you to decide. Never really quit as much as Retired from rs (since I had the time in THE to do it). First time was when I came back home from college and was busy at the beginning of summer a few years ago. Second time would be when my computer broke and I got it fixed. Last time would be when I gave up my computer over summer to focus on irl.

When compared to ZS this is good substitute for a cheaper corp weapon (assuming it doesnt do half dmg). Combined with a rune defender this weapon has only 5 less stab bonus. This is a pretty decent 1-handed weapon and is a decent stab weapon for people who want to slay metals and do not have a chaotic weapon.

Good job on your year of being open Poison. Shame other people cant simply stay on topic and choose to try to start beef on someone's bday topic.

I think TWR rules were changed to allow members to be in 1 TWR clan and 1 TWR team, not sure though <_< Anyways gd job tko blitz, nothing "The" could do with the number differences! I am aware of the rules and that is why I posted that. Thanks.....

Gratz on your win. Word of advice though. Make sure you sort your members that are fighting in multiple teams in twr. If you are planning on taking this serious and all.

Also I would like to add. Intelligence plays a huge role in this for me. Example: Majin Wouter from TRWF is an amazing troll/antitroll (mostly the latter). His posts are usually in response to someone posting something dumb that is a bait or troll. He has the intelligence to make them look bad for what they said and it is usually something that is respected (even though it usually falls under something that can be seen as bad). There are others like this. I guess it is more I am okay if you respond to a troll and dont look stupid about it? I think dumb posts or lack of logic might be my biggest pet peeve(s) when it comes to the internet. If our members cant at least look/seem smart when they post I tell them to not post at all because they make themselves and THE look dumb. These days though the amount of intelligence you can get out of a 20 page topic on a fight topic is quite slim. The longer the topic the less likely it is I want to read it.

How do you feel trolling affects the clan world, both on a local (your clan) and global (clan community) scale? Trolling puts you into beef. I have never seen trolling help a mid-sized clan and usually clans known for it get into so much beef over it that it hurts them in the long run. We have trolls in our clan but they usually do not post. I am even guilty of it at times but its usually not the simple "umadbro?" it tends to revolve around walls of text and logic. How do you feel about clans that flat out ban such behaviour? Never banned someone from OUR clan over it unless it was simply to tell them to shut up. We dislike trolls in our irc and have even simply banned people on sight that are known for such things. They usually end up threatening crashing and stuff but very rarely do we see the action backed up. Do you feel like there is an imbalance in how trolling is accepted? If so, how do you restore the balance? This is a weird question. I think people need to merely back up what they say. The only reason though that top clans can troll so much is because they have the big ml to help them along. Those same people could not lead a clan and do the same thing simply because it would cripple them. I think its the cowards way of trolling.

I am going by what my warlord, Drew22, told me. He said that when you guys approached him that you all had a clan back out on you for your saturday fight. If this was not the case I will happily change the info. However since you were not actually at the fight you may not know what happened DURING the fight. The excuse for you guys leaving this fight in a matter of 5 minutes was that we were mass sniping. T0 were the ones that chose to change to classic bounds. Your clan may have been able to stay far closer in score if they had chosen to keep the fight at turrets (which was the original plan). As soon as this was done we told our members to only bring range/mage as with that we cant be tanked. We did not take a fall in once and simply walked to our targets and transitioned. We are then told you guys are leaving because of this and want to do a matched opts fight. We decided to rather have some other kind of event. Dont make excuses next time please. Its not like we were even winning by a great deal more when this decision was made but instead it was decided to walk out on it. Not going to do a matched opts fight in which we will be cutting 1/3 of the members that came. Would rather have an event/war in which everyone can participate in. We expected a CWA fight for an hour. Its not like this was pvp. This kind of fight ALLOWS for experience to be earned. It ALLOWS for you to step up and maybe fight clans you might not normally fight. Remember it was your clan that came to us for this war. We were honestly expecting to not do much of anything this saturday except maybe host a later spur or something for fun. Lets not talk about ridiculous things please. We have been in a similar predicament with clans above us and stuck it out (see recent fights against CR and Solace). We went to those clans knowing it would be a difficult match. We knew they were ranks above us and still stuck it out. Yes we were beaten with over a 2:1 ratio but we stayed to LEARN and gain EXPERIENCE. We didnt walk out after 5 mins. Its ridiculous that we spent more time MASSING than we did fighting this war. At least it gave us enough opts to host a corporeal event for our clan after.

Initially they wanted a matched opts fight but we were able to talk them into the following rules: Although this was about a day prep for both clans Drew's noob self didnt post til 9 hours after the fight had been accepted (about 11 pm est). During talks right before the fight it was decided to move to CWA classic a move we did not quite understand since that made all styles quite easier..... Starting for the clans THE: 22 T0: 16 Realizing that this fight was in classic we decided to not call fall ins and purely transition. This turned out to be an advantage for us as we were quick to drop our piles. After about 5 minutes of fighting T0 decided to leave their cc, thus giving us the win. Thanks for the fight TO and good luck in future fights. Only reason we posted were due to accusations of mass sniping. We would not have killed so many of your members had we done that. Now off to get loots at corporeal beast. SHOUT OUT TO GERMS FOR GETTING 1 HIT.
