I still play my NES and occasionally my Gameboy you twit. You shouldn't jump tp conclusions. And if you'd like a hostory lesson.. Nintendo released the NES in 1985. Sony released the Playstation in 1994. If you'd like a more detailed lesson on all system released to the US by Sony and Nintendo (including launch year and price), just PM me and I'll gladly inform you.

I'm thinking of possibly becoming an English teacher. I've got a few other careers in mind and English teacher is currently #3 on my list. I'm not sure what all I'll have to do in order to become a teacher but I'm still only a sophomore in high school. ;) As for your lesson plan. It looks boring so you're doing something right ;) I don't know what you're getting graded on but if you can, make the class more interesting (and keep your students interested) by making jokes. I'm sure there are jokes to go along with asteroids/ect. Good luck! :thumbsup: :

I guess if anyone has short term memory loss it may be helpful for them to remember the new friends they've made.. However I have a good memory and I remember who my friends are around here. I also member many little facts about random members I've collected over time ;) I don't think a friends list is needed. Maybe helpful for some, but wouldn't it be just as simple to write their name down on a piece of paper or ever in a text document? The only use I can see coming out of a friends list is nowing when someone is online but I don't see how that really matters much. Just because someone is online doesn't mean they're going to respond to your PM quickly or even check a thread you're hoping for them to post in.. To me the idea seems like a waste..

Quite insecure about your sexuality there, aren't you? I know TONS of guys who have DS's. And I think you should refrain from comments about how a system is for one gender or the other. That's like saying the PS2 is for males and girls should go play the Gamecube. Of course, I know girls who have DS's but I know very few people who own or would even think of buying a PSP. And do you really want me to name some games that males will enjoy? None. You will never find a game that everyone enjoys. Guess what? There are no games for the PSP that everyone enjoys either. Next time you post, be sure you aren't being a sexist moron. And don't let Issy see you being one either.

Well the Xbox has better graphics than the N64. Graphics don't make the game. I can't believe so many people are so worried about graphics. Would you play an (educational) game intended for small children because it's graphics were superior to your computer's graphics? I doubt it. I can tell my family members apart by their foot steps... Same.. Also, if I spend enough time around someone, I can tell them apart from other by the sound of their breathing (in a quiet area).

I'm not sure you've played a DS. Many games offer alternative controls so that you don't have to use the stick.

No it can't. And my car can't cook my breakfast, walk my dog, and deliver my paper now can it? :roll: DS is the way I swing. I don't think there's many games for either that I'd like. However I love Mario Kart and Super Mario DS.. Also, a nice little read pertaining to this subject.

There are also people who will pay good money for services as well :wink: But that's not as safe. You can also try certain magazines or video companies. I'm actually hoping to be a photographer for one of those magazines. Let's just say their logo is a bunny ;) Greatest job ever.. :

What do you mean you can't get a real job? In the 8th grade (most of us were 14) I had friends who worked at Hy-Vee. I'm not sure if Hy-Vee is nation wide but it's a grocery store.

If someone doesn't state that English isn't their primary language or that they're not very good at it, then there's a chance I'll get on them about it. Santor has a nice little thing in sig stating that his primary language is Dutch. So when I see his posts, I let to spelling/grammatical mistakes slide. I don't know everyone's primary language by heart, so simply putting in your sig "English is not my primary language" is enough to keep me off your back (just me, not saying you won't get other grammar Nazi's on you). And yeah, the leet-speak needs to stop..

So in other words, someone who just brings forward a topic and basically plays the devils advocate? I don't care if the original post gives his opinion later in the thread, but I don't like opening a thread and seeing someone go on about how great something is. I wouldn't mind if people would just play the Devil's advocate for a while, then give their opinion after a few others have given theirs..

I have to agree. Only one or two I could name on the spot though.. :-k
