A well composed original post is a must. There's no reason to start a thread if you're going to talk "lyk d15." A subject that will pull in more than just a few people is also nice. It's nice to have a conversation with a few people but it's also nice to have a lot of people contributing to the conversation. Also, it's nice when the original post isn't very bias.

Naruto sucks. +1 I enjoy Bleach, Ghost In The Shell, Inuyasha, and Trigun. However, I don't think Trigun is on tv anymore and Ghost In The Shell is only on at (something like) 3 A.M. CST.

I see where you're going with this but I'm not sure if you were here on New Year's Eve. Because of a couple of us there were 10+ topics locked that night because of spam. A lot of that spam came from those pictures being used to drag thee topic off the original topic. I enjoy the funny pictures and I think they should be allowed in topics, but I think they need to be used in moderation. If I remember correctly, you're only allowed to have 10 emoticons in a post otherwise they could really become spammy. I suggest allowing the pictures to be used in topics, but enforce a "use them in moderation" rule so that they don't become spammy.

So do we...? We call it pop. We call it too many things in the US :P I've heard softdrink, soda, cola, pop and possibly others.. We're a confusing bunch if I do say so myself..

But those jobs are so mundane, Deloria. You're obviously good with people, so make use of it. Don't deprive the public of your sparkling personality!!! : Maybe I'll work my way up to cashier and I'll be able to chat with all the customers : Why don't you try working at the movies? I work there and you get to do a lot of talking with people. Granted 90% of it is just required "Hello, would you like to try a combo today?" or "Enjoy your show," you still get to develop your people skills. My brother works at the grocery store bagging and pushing carts, but as a person, he doesn't really benefit from it other than getting stronger from pushing carts for hours. I think besides benefiting monetarily from a job, you should also pick one that builds yourself in some way. And no, I don't mean building character from doing some repetitive manual labor type task. I mean personality building things that help you later in life. I might look into that. I know someone else who works at a movie theater and enjoys it. Oh the fun of the job hunt :P

As well as a thumbs down emotion I think we could use some funnier emotions. Some that just make us chuckle when we see them. We seem to have a lot of great computer artists around here so I'm sure we could easily have more made. :-k
