  1. They dig a giant hole and bury dead pokemon there. XD - better be a damn big hole, cos pokemon is dead Heh, pretty much. As far as I can tell, they're just dragging it on as long as they possibly can. I don't think they have the millions of fans they used to.
  2. I think it actually goes after the "s" since there are multiple people.
  3. I've not heard of this theory about a meteor crushing the Earth some day. The "End of the World" theory I've lived by is the end of the Sun. So call me a [bleep] for wanting my house fixed rather than letting some scientists look at a meteorite that damaged my house. If they want it bad enough, they can go buy it back.
  4. I'm going to start applying at grocery stores and other places were I can do something simple like stocking shelves. I've vowed not to become a waiter or work in fast food :notalk:
  5. :XD: Yeah pretty much.. But it looks like I'll have to share some of the spotlight :-w
  6. Wow.. Personally, I'd sell that and have my house repaired. Not much fun trying to use the toilet when it's raining and you have a hole in the roof, now is it? :P
  7. I agree with you there. =D> . screw you cold weather ;p. You won't be agreeing when it gets to summer with 40c temperatures. :P I won't care! I'll be in my pool getting a nice tan 8-)
  8. I laughed when they said that! But really.. I played my frist FPS when I was 7 years old. I have yet to go out on the streets and shoot anyone. I think the government should stay out of things that they know nothing about. Hitting keys on your keyboard isn't going to teach you to fly and airplane or shoot a gun accurately. It's far more complicated in reality than it is on a screen.
  9. Ah, I love it! It's got an ancient look to it :
  10. There's a difference between trying to impress people, and trying not to get beat up/made fun of for the rest of your school year. It's called ignoring them. If people tease you, then tease them back. Stand up for yourself. That's a lot easier in some schools and neighborhoods than others. There's something to be said for not getting your body severely damaged. It doesn't matter what neighborhood you're in. You should always stand up for yourself and your friends. I know I do..
  11. I live in the midwest too. I wish we had snow but then I don't. I love snowboarding but I hate the cold when I'm not out there having fun. And I'm not a fan of driving in slick conditions.. :uhh:
  12. I'd have to guess it's a choice. And are they even sending soldiers to Afghanistan anymore? I haven't heard anything about it in so long.. It's just been all about Iraq..
  13. I pretty much do the same thing as you Cad. I know who to look for intelligent posts from and when I see their posts I read it over well and try to take it in. But when I see someone I know doesn't have such a great intelligence level, I'm more likely to skip their post unless I am truely interested. SuziAngel mentioned the grammatical snobbery around here. I'll admit I can be a grammar Nazi at times but I won't be a jerk to someone if my own grammar is slipping at that time (though I always try to post with good grammar so it usually doesn't slip much).
  14. Bleach
  15. how is a big toe important? :-k Balance
  16. I really hate it when anybody leaves their turn signal on when they're not going to turn. I put a decent bit of faith in others when I'm driving, unlike my parents. My parents wait for the person to commit to the turn, I rather wait for them to hit the brakes. Then I trust them that they're turning and go.
  17. Feeling nervous would seem totally rational at a time like this. I personally wish I was older so I could join the army. Maybe you're like me and things like this don't make you nervous. If you don't want to see a battle field, you had better start praying they don't ship you out.
  18. *Haven't read the whole topic, just commenting on the original post* I personally love to read. But I don't go to the Varrok Library because I don't want to read stories about Runescape. That doesn't interest me at all. And I don't see many people writing romantic poems, informative articles or stories that I can relate to so I don't even bother to check in there anymore.
  19. Not even women with PMT??? Nah, I'm not scared of that.. I just know I'm in for a bad day no matter how hard I try :P
  20. Oh yes. You'll get off the plan with an hour to find the next terminal and in no time you'll find yourself running through the airport in search of the next terminal. But if you find your terminal fast, it will seem like you spend hours just sitting there waiting to board. You can't be my 4 1/2 hours in Newark right before a 6 hour flight to Seattle, followed by 2 hours of technical difficulties and a 12 hour flight. You just can't. I suppose you live in the USA. So no customs. If you don't, get ready. Those lines are boring. (Most of the time) I'm getting a little off-topic, so I'll get back to on-topic...Are you transferring? That'd increase the chance of having baggage being delayed, as well as boredom. Customs are such a pain.. When I went to Mexico I had to go through cutoms when we got there and when we got back. It was kind of funny though.. In Mexico, you pushed a button as you walked through (after all the waiting in line with your passport crap) and if the light turned red, they searched your luggage and if it was green they just let you pass. But when we got back to the US, the guy checking luggage simply asked us if we had anything illegal, we said no, and we never had to stop walking. We had such great security years ago :ohnoes:
  21. And now the fun begins ;) Well, maybe not for you, but I love the rush I get when the lights go out and the winds picks up.. : Best of luck to you!
  22. Most common areas in the US for tornados. I actually live in Tornado Ally or just barely to the north (would only be a few miles to the north).
  23. Get that window closed. The wind could easily knock things over if it's as strong as you say it is. No need to lose valuable items if you can easily prevent it. If there really is a tornado, you want to keep the window open. The pressure difference causes windows to break(I forget if they break out or in, but they do break) You know, if a tornado came close enough to my house to break the windows via preassure, I don't think it would matter whether they were open or not..
  24. Get that window closed. The wind could easily knock things over if it's as strong as you say it is. No need to lose valuable items if you can easily prevent it.
  25. First thing I suggest is GET IN THE BASEMENT. I know I'm the kind of fool who will literally stand outside and watch for a tornado until something near me gets struck by lightning or a heavy object is sent my way by the wind, but I've experienced tornados all my life and it doesn't seem like you have much experience with them. Second, keep calling. If there are tornados, your mom may have found shelter but left her phone in her car. Happens all the time to my mom. She'll walk in the door and realise her phone is still in the car. Don't worry too much, you're mom should be smart enough to know to find shelter when the weather takes a turn for the worse.
