I believe this was the case. I'm also pretty sure it's not patched yet on PC (Hell the FMG9 is the same one from day 1), so I'm going to test this out.

I don't have a pet Completionist, so I'm a little stuck there.

It's almost as if Jagex is trying to penalise players who can't open the effigies as they come by. This is an extremely poor oversight. I'm fine with reduced drop rates, but an extremely low limit is totally uncalled for. EDIT: Also - Is there a reduced experience rate now, and which is it for if not both?

Just saw the video below your post. Guess it's the new prestige levels.

Saw a (prestige?) rank which looked like a golden head with a sword (or some long stick) vertically over it. How do you obtain it? I haven't seen it until today, and it doesn't match any prestige rank.

Solo Bandos is all I can think of with your eliminated options.

My ping sometimes jumps to about 800ms or so from a usual ~230. It becomes very irritating when I try prayer flashing, which is already as difficult as it is with over 200ms of response time.

Anyone know why tactical grenades can't be replenished? It's irritating to have nothing to use against campers once you've spent your only 2.

I get constant 15-16 FPS in Taverly/Burthope, around 17-18 in GE, it's a consistent 27-30 FPS elsewhere (except for Darkmeyer which is like 10 FPS), with all settings on max including 4xAA. It appears that new areas seem to lag more (although Dominion Tower is lag free for me)...?

I know DFS is decent for bandos if you tank, but I believe the dragon defender outclasses it anyway?

I like the animation suggestion (lava dripping off). Seems like a useful usage of particle effects (I believe the completionist cape also has a similar effect).

Dragons were updated in 2006 too, but that didn't stop Jagex from adding another update to them.

Try the platform in the top right of Underground by the taxi, and the single storied house near A on Bootleg (I think there are spawns there).

I'm still not being able to go prone in some areas - now it's more irritating when some jerk puts a bouncing betty there and I end up dying (because you don't even go to crouch - it does nothing). Can someone confirm this glitch for me? I'm pretty sure it's not my keyboard.

I think I read somewhere that you can plug in a superior graphics card (that is if your motherboard has the slot) and it will override the current one (the integrated one)?

Melee would probably be better than ranged for the quest for you, unless you don't have any melee gear (?).

Just games I play more often: Ninjump, Bouncedown, Mega Jump, TrenchesVS (and Stenches too if you're really interested in this genre), Fragger, Cut the Rope, Dino Rush, Minigore, Doodle Flight and SFIV Volt. These games should either be free or cost ~$1 each, save for SFIV Volt, which you should either wait for a sale as it's not worth $4ish.

Go into private match, Stick a C4 on the wall and practice. I can do that but in game with movement and all that shiz I still suck :D I never thought of trying it this way actually. This should be pretty useful for improving my overall accuracy for sniper rifles.

Should be in more places to stop thoose drop-shotting [bleep]s. It's kind of irritating to try and duck behind cover (the spots have tons of low cover that crouching will do nothing for) and realise that it doesn't do anything.

Does anybody have an issue with proning on several maps? On Underground, there's a general area where you can't go prone at all - it's near the northwest, straight up the stairs from Spetsnaz spawn. On Bootleg, there's an entire house where you can't go prone in (I believe it's near the market-ish place). I thought it was just me until someone I played with today had similar problems. It's not even like there's not enough space, it's an entire flat piece of land.
