Harrington
Unreal Tournament clan match with capture the flag (about 3 years ago). It was the November map (with the submarine in the middle) The score was tied at 3 each with about 10 minutes remaining. I had captured the enemy flag but was unable to score since they also had ours. I successfully held onto the flag for the next mins fighting off attack after attack. I achieved a "godlike" run (25 kills in a row without dying myself). With less than one minute remaining, someone spotted their flag carrier and flushed them out into the killing zone in the submarine pen where I took him out with my trusty sniper rifle. A team mate ran over the flag, allowing me to score. A legendary game that was... scored the winning flag with twenty seconds to spare as well as setting a new NGStats clan record lol. Well pleased. Well pleased.Sounds like a CTF match i played in for the POE XGN ladder. I'd stolen their flag; jumped in the nearest vehicle (big slow troopie) and got back to our flag with 5 seconds to score :ohnoes: I rolled the truck coming down a hill so I had about 10 meters to cover in those 5 seconds and literally put it down with 2 seconds left :| We won the entire game by one point - which most of my clan put down to that capture :D
Nadril
oh man, you guys just reminded me of the most epic battle I've ever had in an FPS. Ok, the game is Firearms for Half life. Its a clan match wich is my (small clan) vs another pretty good clan. it was a 5v5 match if I remember and was on one of the larger maps (durandal). Well anyways near the start of the match everything was going ok, but we started losing HORRIBLY. The game goes off of reinforcments left a lot like battlefield two does, and we were now roughly 70 or 80 reins behind (you start with like 140). All of us are on vent and we are kind of swearing it up right now. I try telling everyone we can do this and finaly we came up with a plan. We had three of our players guarding our base crates. [in case you don't know the crates give you back I belive 2 reins per crate destroyed, there are about 3 in the enemys/your base.]. I was guarding a midway area prone with a nice machine gun :). Meanwhile my friend, Jairyn, was doing rushes to their base. Along the way he would kill 2 or 3 and then go in, destroy the crates and die. Well sure enough it starts whittling down on the reins until it ends up being like us having 1 rein left vs them having 2. As we were about to win they acidently all "crashed" the server. Made me so pissed.... That match went on for literaly 3 hours and 45 minutes. freaking insane.
Barihawk
Kefka and the three Gods of War from Final Fantasy 6. Epic. Seeing Kefka laugh arrogantly even as his powers faded and the Gateway closed...then start crying and then laughing maniacally. Best Boss Battle Ever. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
l33thunt3r
Uh, during one of our CS 1.6 scrims vs a pretty good clan (reoG), we were tied at 10 - 10, and it was 5 v 5. The 21'th round, I was left alone vs 4 of them. I had an AK and a flash, so I knew I was going to die. I manage to headshot two of them looking for me, and flash the lower tunnel, and spamming the wall to get the second-to-last. I finished up with planting the bomb, and camping it. :) We went on to lose, but my heart's never been like that before, lol.

elmo_killer6
Sephiroths on either KH game are fun. Then theres some bosses from FFX like sin and the magus sisters. I also thought the battle at the end of King's Quest 8 (old game) was interesting, but now necesarily hard.
Ragen
Now that you guys mention them, I've had some really epic Battles on FPS's in capture the flag. I never really played any games designed especially for multiplayer, so my CTF experiences are mainly on Jedi Knight 2 . That games had atmosphere. When you're running along with a lightsaber, deflecting bullets, and you force push someone over the edge of a cliff, that just feels great. I also loved the Duel mode there was on that game. The best maps were the Sky City carbon-freezing chamber from The Empire Strikes back and the chamber where you first encounter the Shadow Troopers. I used to kick some serious butt at that game. Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar!
BloodfleshX
Playing hardcore on BG2: ToB while using the Ascension mod (improved bosses AI greatly) on the final battle with Melissan and The Five. I got slaughtered countless times using it. Before the mod the hardest monster was Demogorgon, but he was a pushover. Kangaxx from SoA was pretty hard too. Damn nice rewards though. I remember trying to take Firkraag out the first time there aswell, around lvl 9 or so hehe, took me a few tries, but IIRC I managed to take him out.
