Lionheart_0
What would you consider to be your most epic or hardest battle you have ever fought in a game? Any reason why you think it is so hard? Well, ive been playing Kingdom hearts II over the past few days, and have just managed to have a chance to face Sephiroth. literally, The "Continue or load" screen came up under 5 seconds on my first try. The other two tries were very hard as well, and I only lasted maybe 15 seconds. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Behave or I will send my Moose mounted Beaver launchers at you! Zonorhc
Beating Irresistible Blokes [iB] in a randomly matched GVG battle on Guild Wars. They were formerly #1 on the European ladder, for those who don't know. That was a solid 40 minutes of epic. ... Okay, so they were using their iB International smurf guild for practice, but all bar one of them had the trimmed cape. >.> Varrock Library: Shattered Sky | Silent Thunder | The Emperor's FinestAstri @ MythWeavers

Korla
A Shaman or Warlock with Felhunter against my mage. Earth-shock -> Windfury crit crit -> dead mage Felhunter bite bite -> dead mage Seriously...probably my first Razorgore fight on WoW...man, 40 people working in a coordinated manner to take that guy down is a pretty awesome feeling, beats any 1 player experience I've ever had. Or the first time I was in ZG as a little nubbin, sweet times.
Nedich
I remember trying to kill 'Raven' on Metal Gear Solid 1, he used to scare the life out of me when you'd have almost killed him and he started running. Also it didnt help when you knew your rations had frozen by then. A big relief when I finally killed him. The final boss on 'GUN' the game was pretty challenging aswell, but once you'd figured out what to do it was easier.
Ragen
The Sniper Battle with the Old Dude in MGS3 was pretty epic. Other than that I'd say that the Final Fantast series had the most epic battles and some of the hardest (think Ruby and Emerald Weapon or the Dark Aeons in FFX). Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar!

Parabola
Back when EU WoW was quite young, my guild did a raid on the Crossroads. It was a very cool feeling to see 50+ mounted people charging across the Barrens and storming a pretty empty village. Hard bosses include Demon Gate in FF7 and Hetaera in WoW (Hydra in Azshara, since been nerfed I think - it was hard because I was doing it solo). Most disproportionately easy boss = Murmur in WoW. Mercifull
Me and my friend on Playstation (PS1) Link playing the original Red Alert. We would put two tv's back to back and play against the maximum number of opponents. At first we would ally with each other with Allieds fortifying inside the Soviet base. Then Once we had destroyed all the enimies we would split off to create our own bases after a set amount of time. We would then sell off all structures in the original superbase and move all out tanks and people out. When the time came we would then un-ally and then its time to attack. I think the longest game we played was over 4 hours :D Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Nadril
Recently probaly playing through gears of war on hardcore mode with my little brother. Most notidbly was the train level near the end, was amazingly chalangig and epic feeling. I had some epic battles in Heroes of might and magic III. usualy these would be the result of both sides afraid to attack until we finaly end up attacking each other with thousands of units. :D

I waited a while until he comes searching for me. So he always finds you, since its a game. So I just hid until a certain time, then I go out and search for his face and shot him. megakiller32
Ganon in the Zelda Oracle of ages/seasons games. However Ganon in twilight princess was *really* easy. malo2
I remember the first time you meet the tentacles in half-life 1, no matter how many times I tried, I could never get past them without having to cheat. But then I tried again about two years later and got past them in a few tries :? Thats probably the best example of how a persons skills increase over time I have ever seen first hand. sephiroth_king
Sephiroth, KH1 and KH2. Athough it took me one try to beat him in both games, it still was long. Ganon in the Zelda Oracle of ages/seasons games. However Ganon in twilight princess was *really* easy. Anyone agree with me or am i too good? :XD: Ganon was extremely easy, so don't think you are too good (Although all Zelda endings are easy, yet fun...). megakiller32
Also, i just realised how easy Andross is from Lylat wars  But my hardest boss is definitly.... that goldfish from Earthworm Jim 2 on the SNES. :P Quit Runescape 30th May 2006.Thanks to Hawkxs for my signature :)
adam_ross0
Definitely Hero Wars in Warcraft 3 and WC3: Frozen Throne. Taking a level 10 Mine Layer to the line, seeing thousands of soldiers die..blood splattering..bodies falling..and especially when you go and use Stomp and see a bout 50 people die beside you. It's EPIC DUDE.

Hehe, I know what you mean. Speaking of half life 1 the first time you see the Gargantuan (and hell, the second) it scared the living s**t out of me. . Always felt kind of epic. Another epic battle is a scene in Baulders gate II where you are in a "crazy house" (mentaly unstable people there). You let all of them out [like 30 of them] and all of them and your party of 6 are attacking the main boss of the game. You never kill him but MAN is it epic. To put on words how hard this boss can be -- he can stop time to use an ability every once and a while. Its insane and laged my old PC lol. Lavos in chrono trigger is deffinitly the hardest fight I've been in >_<.

I had a hell of a time beating him to, just because of the beating 10 water forms in 10 seconds. Was hard unless i used a limit, and sometimes i was out of magic. You shouldn't of taken it back, its an awesome game Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Behave or I will send my Moose mounted Beaver launchers at you! Guest Cosinus
Twin Emperors / C'Thun in WoW. Really hard! Other than that I think the battle between LeChuck and Guybrush in MI2 was truly amazing and hard.
Alg
nebilim in tales of the abyss (unknown difficulty) is hard i lasted maybe 30 seconds, and 10 of which was casting... the spell that took place was one of the strongest in the game, and unknown difficulty multiplies all enemy stats by 4...so it was 1 million health, and i could hit one damage at the most...quite fun as for epic... jack of blades as a dragon in fable, lost chapters... well, maybe not that epic, but still... I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
Jaziek
trying to solo red fatalis in MHF... that hard [wagon] wyvern just WONT go down without one hell of a fight. Other than that.. uh.. some of the final fights in FFVI were nigh on impossible, and also the last few battles in FE 2 the sacred stones for GBA. Xewleer
In age two I usually play as the British, I love the Long bow range, but any way... Once, I was in such a battle that I covered the empty ground in arrows and the dead of my enemies so that the grass was not seen for 5 minutes! That, my friends, is epic! the feel that you have 160 loyal longbows, able to take out anything, marching to the nearest town to lay it waste and salt the earth with your enemies bodies! I have never felt such an adrenaline rush... I'll show you how terrifying a true Christian can be!It's Xewleer: ZEW le ar, got it memorized?Hermit of the Varrock Library and its proud guard.
