May 15, 200719 yr omgee a loophole, we be soooo scared :P. seriously though anything you could think of...we have it covered. if you've found a loophole then trust me we have left it in there intentionally. As the trial has shown it WILL be hard, this is not an event u can just turn up and win, it requires some thinking. The staff have thought long and hard about how it could be won and it definatly is possible. *HINT* There are loopholes in the item rules, these have been left in intentially, to promote team play and also some THINKING :D . thats from page 3 of this thread =p
May 15, 200719 yr The only possible loophole I can think of is Prayer potions, thought I have told they are not allowed. My resoning was that prayer potions weren't exactly... stat boosting, more stat restoring.

No whips/dds specing - those are my only melee weapons in bank..I will not buy any new one to alch it right after this quest. And even if I do, those are only proper ones. No crystal bow - sorry, but ranged is way underpowered already, why make it even weaker? No ancients - what else then? Fire wave which rarely hits anything good? God magics that are (Pardon) pain in the rear end to cast? No barrows equipment - well, barrows currently is my only melee armour and I am not willing to buy dragon back as its price is dropping fast. And rune? To me, not an armour, sorry. :P Nothing against the event, just the rules that would be hard for me to fit in.

That is precisely why we didn't allow them, as people will just use what they already have and they wont have to experiment with other weapons they would normally discard and go back to their normal whip/dds combo. And rune is a rather good armour, simply because you aren't allowed to use Barrows, and you choose to not use Dragon (Notice there is another armour set missing?), doesn't mean that rune is rubbish. Nothing against the event, just the rules that would be hard for me to fit in. However, I respect your decision. Come along and watch, even if you're not going to participate.
May 23, 200719 yr Everyone (not just those that have posted), please keep in mind that the main point of this event is to have fun, not to give away cash. If you're wanting to go to have a good time and maybe challenge yourself then by all means sign up, but if you were intending to show up with no other motive but to get "phr33 st00fs" then I suggest you not participate. We all have better things to do than to appease to the few people that are there just for the prizes, and quite frankly it wouldn't be fair to the people that are following the rules without whining, anyways.

May 27, 200719 yr Yes, The event lasted approximatly 1.5 hours. There was a definate lack of players but of those there, they throughoughly enjoyed it. The staff and the players. The first team did not succeed. The second team did, with 5/6 members living.
