adam_ross0
Idon't really care who gets it..I can't vote, so I haven't been paying much attention. I just hope HILARY doesn't get it. Take away our right to bear arms? Anti-Video Game? Right to Bear Arms: Good luck taking that away. Take this away, Government, and the whole country'll be dead soon. Anti Video Game: This is just stupid. Oh My Gosh!! Billy picked up this game called 'Grand Theft Auto 3' or something and I saw him shooting people! SHOOTING PEOPLE!!?!?!!? What next, is he gonna go in our neigborhood and shoot Old Lady Fart?! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!! Well, guess what? If he's too young to understand the game, then don't let him play it! My gosh. *I* am 13 (underage to play GTA)..and do you see me running around with an Uzi shooting up a store?
Satenza
Can you Bari, tell my why Homosexuality, Abortion and every act you deem to be immoral is wrong? Homosexuality: God created Man and Woman. And let's look at it from an anatomy angle. The plumbing doesn't fit. Abortion: All are created through God through conception. That means the Zygote is a living creature in God's eyes from the moment of gestation. List some more. PS: You are starting to generalize again. So, lets lay this down the line. Homosexuality is wrong because it doesn't follow a biological way. Thats what you define right and wrong by? This must be it since you already told me that the Bible is outdated and we can't take what it says to be literal. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

If you actually read the Bible, study it, and take into context, you can actually learn when to take the Bible literally, and when to take it figuratively. If you actually read the Bible, study it, and take into context, you can actually learn when to take the Bible literally, and when to take it figuratively. Well, you said; You are taking a 4000-6000 year old quote, and giving it modern meanings. Practically ALL of those quotes are not to be taken literally. They are moral plays and lessons. So it is of your opinion that all of the Bible can't be taken for fact. You pick and choose what is a "moral lesson" and what is not. So thats your interpretation of it, you don't follow some passages as absolute truth you pick and choose. Showing that what you beleive isn't divine in any aspect but an interpretation as to whether it is true or not. The reasons you have given as to why homosexuality is wrong is; 1. Because it says so in the Bible But you admitted that you don't take it all literally, and choose for yourself, making all of what the Bible says underquestion as to if it is true or not. So you assume that this verse is fact = Your interpretation, not neccessarlity the truth. 2. Because it's wrong Biologically. Meaning that you define morality by what is right and what is not right in a biological aspect. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. Barihawk
1st: I made an error. We need to take this to the appropriate thread. 2nd: I applaud you. You're trying to walk me into a box. You are not only taking Biblical quotes out of context, you are taking my quotes out of context. I'm almost tempted to stop taking you seriously. This is the third time this conversation I've noticed this ploy. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Satenza
It was a straight forward question: tell my why Homosexuality, Abortion and every act you deem to be immoral is wrong? Homosexuality: God created Man and Woman. And let's look at it from an anatomy angle. The plumbing doesn't fit. The point of genitalia is for reproduction and child rearing. Their function in a homosexual relationship is useless aside from pleasure. They can not be fruitful and multiply. These are purley biological aspects as to why you think it's wrong in regards to my question which specificallys asks why you think it's wrong in a moral aspect. How is that taken out of context. I'm not walking you into a box, you have done that by yourself. Which shows how clearly flawed what you deem to be morality is. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. cryztalwing
out of those listed I am going to say Ron Paul. There are more people running that was not listed any way, why Ron Paul? Paul first ran for President as the Libertarian candidate in 1988, receiving a massive 400,000 votes. He now commands the support of those all across the political spectrum, from libertarians through anti-war Democrats to real paleoconservative Republicans. Paul has been in and out of Congress since the 70's and is universally hated by the Republican elite, who routinely back Democrats against him just to try and get him out of office. The former Vietnam flight surgeon is the perfect candidate for President and activists from every corner of every political persuasion should mobilize now in an attempt to help Paul shatter the power monopoly of the Republican and Democrat establishment who have worked together for decades to slit America's throat in the interests of power, greed, and ego - all working towards the realization of a new world order. The Texan represents a dying breed in Congress, those who actually cast their votes in accordance with the Constitution and not at the discretion of lobbyists or the fear that the elite will tarnish their political careers if they don't continually support the establishment. As a result Ron Paul is the elite's worse nightmare, simply having him on the ticket itself will be a massive public relations blow, and that's why media organs will probably be activated to try and discredit him before 2008. Paul was one of only a handful of Republicans to vote against the illegal invasion of Iraq, contenting rightly that the Constitution clearly states that only Congress can declare war. In bucking a trend, Paul was anti-war long before the majority of the country came around to a similar way of thinking following the catastrophe of the occupation. According to the Associated Press, "Paul bills himself as "The Taxpayers' Best Friend," and is routinely ranked either first or second in the House by the National Taxpayers Union, a national group advocating low taxes and limited government." On every single issue of national importance - borders, the war, limited government, U.S. sovereignty, tax and the federal reserve - Ron Paul stands for populist ideals that the country is screaming out for after seven years of hell under Bush, preceded by eight years of disgrace under Bill Clinton. Ron Paul voted against the Patriot Act, opposes the draft, advocates the abolition of the income tax, urges the re-introduction of the gold standard, and stands against initiatives to strip the U.S. of its sovereignty such as CAFTA and the FTAA. From reforming Marijuana laws to supporting an unregulated Internet, to supporting the 2nd amendment, Ron Paul hits home with keystone populist issues across the board. Last month he introduced The Second Amendment Protection Act of 2007 A BILL To restore the second amendment rights of all Americans. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the `Second Amendment Protection Act of 2007'. SEC. 2. Barihawk
So basically: He will end the war, open the borders, legalize pot, cut taxes (and kill the Laffer balance), cripple the US monetarily... ...and finally give every criminal on the street free access to handguns. Uh huh. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Ginger_Warrior
Being someone who lives in the UK, I only get my information from Matt Fry, and BBC News. However, it seems to me that the Republican camp simply doesn't have anyone that can "Wow" the people. So for me, this is a race between Hilary Clinton and Obama. If I was a betting man, my money would be on Hilary. I think she has the monetary resources that Obama simply does not. Also secondly, and I mean no offense by this, but America is still an incredibly racist country (Britain's not much better , but you can't hide from the truth). I just don't believe that Obama will gain enough white liberal support in order to reach Presidency. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |

I am also not fond of the fact he claimed he was not going to run for President in his first term, but did it anyway. Don't count the Republicans out yet. John McCain is a strong contender. Plus, the primaries have not even occurred yet. Nobody can predict anything until after the Primaries.
