Ps. I co-op at a middle school, and ill tell everyone something: The next few generations of kids are going to be all like this. I see kids swearing, doing obscene things, having no respect for authority, not caring about what their actions effect. I think everyone is going to have to get used to how the next few years are going to be....

 

 

 

I think this is because we have so many restrictions that makes us want to do these things. Think of Prohibition. Law is passed that achlohol is banned so thing's like speakeasies (underground bars/hidden bars) start showing up and people start smuggling etc. When they get rid of this, everything (for the most part) stops.

If a student highly disrespects a teacher (like swearing and refusing to do anything) most he would get is going outside. If it was MY school, the student would be expelled. If they can't show any respect for anything why should they even go to school? Teach him how to make bugers and he can work in a McDonalds for the rest of his life.

 

 

 

If a student brought a weapon at school and was planning to shoot it, he would get an explusion but this is the funny part, he would be welcomed back next year. I would expell him, and then press charges for atempted murder/assault. Make him roit in jail for the rest of his life, and make him think if gangs are that cool anymore.

 

 

 

 

 

If you teach people at a young age how to behave correctly, they will do so for the rest of thier lifes.

That is true and I agree with you. I'm just saying the curiousity of Children, and occasionally adults, can be crazy. You tell a Child not to eat the cookie before dinner, but it makes him want to do it more. Of course as you said, if the children was taught to behave well, he should, but then again, how many children ARE taught to behave well nowadays? (if nowadays is even a word)

I couldn't agree more. Children misbehave and what happens? They get shouted at or have a privilege taken away for a while out of their ridiculously over-privileged lives, or something equally pathetic.

i beleive they do that here in holland, i think its till the year the clas is 15 years old (dont know wich grade you'd cal that but its the third year of highschool here.) don't know for sure im only 13...

You know, this really only happens because educational systems have become absurdly child-centric in recent times. According to all the adults I've spoken to on the matter, discipline was much better when teachers could use the cane. Hell, I can attest to this, because I went to a school back in the Philippines when they still did.

*The commercials can get graphic and actually partially show the act. I've seen the lubricant commerical before...It looks a lot like a perfume thing because it shows the box with the lubricant bottle in it. Then if you watch further it shows the man and the woman in the shower doing it. (This commercial can show up on any channel. Just like the condom one.)

 

 

 

*The student body can use peer pressure to get you to have sex. They can make fun of someone for being a virgin or simply not having a girlfriend.

Agreed. It's much harder for a guy to control the sex instinct. Sometimes girls can be pressured by guys into having sex because they are emotionally attached and feel it is the only way to show affection or something. Some are [bleep]s, some just feel it is a way of showing affection.

I just hate it now that people get together, and break up a few weeks later. They repeat the process many times in thier school lives... Hmm, I'm afraid I partially agree. Instead of it being much harder for a guy. It's much harder for an individual. Remember, it's not just the men who are the over-zealously horny ones. It varies from person to person. Hormones are no excuse to behave a certain way.

 

 

 

I do agree about the emotional-attachement though. Many people, yes, even men, are guilt-tripped into sex.

I remember reading that something like 10% of kids have sex for the first time at 12 yrs old. So 11-13 yrs old it's possible, but they're crazy doing it in front of a class though. I smell internet contamination.
