The prayer cape is one of the most envied capes, probably with competition from construction and smithing. 431k level 30 monsters doesn't seem too staggering, maybe I can do it?

 

 

If anyone knows a better way that costs about no money, that works too.

I messed up big-time on that image #-o[/hide]

7 seconds per kill = 3,017,000 seconds = 50,284 minutes (rounded) = 838 hours = 35 (rounded) non-stop days off killing ghasts, not even including breaks, banking, getting the stuff in the druid pouches to make them visible (takes a long time :| )

13,500,00-80,933=13,419,067.

 

Now, let's say I get EXACTLY 1k exp for each pc point. That's a very rough estimation of a ton of yadayada. K now...

 

13,419,067/1,000=~13,420.

 

13,420 games of pest control? I've heard of it!! Ask the dude with 200m attack experience. Now, for the money. ... 10,736,000 coins on the nose. So I get 99 prayer and 10m. Awesome!!

well they guy calculated for more then 50K minutes killing ghasts, and uhm if you count 3 minutes per pc game you'll stick below that.

 

One problem though I'm afraid pc gives less prayer xp then other skills :( I'll check that out but I really believe they did that to avoid prayer becoming too easy.

 

I'm also going to check out a pc calculator for you to see how many games this would really be.

You might want to get to lvl 70 first using dragon bones and an altar after u killed green drags ? sell the hides for dbones so yo only have to kill half the amount of drags.

 

then when you have lvl 70 pcing for prayer will a lot more rewarding.

ok edit: you would need like 2.5k dbones with an altar to get 70 pray, so you would have to kill 1250 green drags, easy right ? =) :oops:

both ways it would take you 50k minutes for the ghasts, but this would take you between 90K and 180K minutes !!!! not to mention your death...

p.s. my advice, kill any kind of dragon, sell the hides buy more bones and use them on a con altar, get 99 strength and range along the way =)

 

even better advice: start crafting nats, and sell them to buy dbones, I'm pretty sure that would be the fastest and most rewarding way because rc xp ownz :)

yes, you are a complete idiot tbh, but if i weren't mean, it would be something like this: killing ghasts is a very bad way to get prayer exp and i wouldn't suggest it. maybe if you trained at baby blue drags and banked their bones you wouldn't get too bored

Please read my (stupid) ideas before posting. I realise how very stupid the ghasts thing was. I was way off in pest control, but it's quicker than anything else. You see, it takes me ten minutes to range a blue dragon. ~5 minutes a bone, worth only 250 xp each. However, with pest control, in a world worth bullpie, ~480 exp PER TWO-THREE MINUTES. Add the money to that. I could pc to most of the way there, then buy dragon bones for the rest of the way. On top of all that, pc is a lot less boring.

Wouldn't chaos work better? If you're crafting the runes, well I mean, chaos is a lot faster using the abyss. But then there's that multiplication thing... Well, good luck. Sounds a lot more fun than mine though!
