You could raise the money to buy the bones quicker then you will accomplish this. Raise money for d bones and use an alter.

If you're set on this goal, and you think you'll get a sense of accomplishment from it, then by all means go ahead. But please let me tell you that someone else earlier in this thread is right, shades are probably the way to go. I think overall, it will take you nearly the same amount of time gathering druid pouches as oils and shade remains, especially if you have a friend training in the shade tombs. But shades pay off amazingly. Let's assume you start burning yew pyres. (Buy yourself 5k maples and burn them just regularly to begin.) That's 300 (log) + 100 (random stuff) per shade, and you get more than a 1k back or better, sometimes far more, along with clues and fine cloths. Meanwhile, these beat your ghasts by some xp per action, and as an added bonus, you're training firemaking at the same time. When you move on to mage pyres, although I'm not there yet, I've heard it averages several thousand gp a shade and tons of cloths. 99 pray is quite nice, but if you have time to spare, why not get 99 fm in the same time?

..Pest control owns that. Firemaking is boring, and so is woodcutting is too. And the capes are boring as well. My favorite color is white (no racism...) and that cape is white. The only other white cape is for quests, and that is way too easy. Prayer is kinda necessary, yaknow? It's the only way people can beat TzTok-Jad. It's what decides battles, and the more prayer points you have, the less prayer potions you need for each battle. With 100 prayer points, I would just win. I would just win, period.

you may not think it but shades would be A LOT better getting 99 prayer than either PC or killing ghasts, killing ghasts for 99 pray is like going for 99 craft killing for snelms :wall: honestly, i would get to 60-70 prayer with normal methods (burying/altering bones) and then see how you want to progress, you havent even got 100k exp in prayer yet and you still have to multiply your current exp by 1350% (i think :shock: )but if you really want to go for it be my guest and good luck (if you did burn shades after 80 fm you can earn maybe 20k+ gp per 100 prayer exp if you lucky, but roughly 10k per 100 exp, thats ~100gp per prayer exp, try finding that anywhere else in the game
