Why Do You Have A Pure?

I know that I made my pure def char because I want to wow people when they see a level 18 with dragon armour.

But, that's what I hate, Pures just like autoers take up Highscores! It's very mean to people like me. A person with no stat except CRAFTING which isn't a very used stat. :(

 

An autoer is NOT a pure, and has nothing to do with pures. They are two completely different concepts and confusing them like that is a fatal mistake. You don't have to be a pure character to use macroing softwae.

They aren't autoers/macroers, they're like them.

 

 

 

Common: They raise one/two/three certain stats to a max.

 

 

 

That means they fill up the highscores. Like Autoers

Ray, here is the bottom line.

 

You keep saying that Pures take up space in the high scores JUST like autoers.

 

Autoers don't deserve to be in high scores.

 

Pures do.

 

Pures work just as hard as everybody else to get into the high scores (minus drop traders).

 

Just because they appear on the highscores doesn't mean they don't deserve it. If you want to get on the high scores, train your skills.

 

ALL legit pures aren't a waste of money, since they make money by themselves without support from drop trading.

 

Your opinion is that pures are pointless, you stick with that.

 

Our opinion that pures are fun, exactly the reason why we play this game.

 

I don't really understand what else kind of productivity you want out of this thread, your basically shredding pures down saying they space in the high scores just because YOUR stats aren't that glamorous.

I have a pure because there's nothing much to do in f2p unless pking, and i already got 50+ lvl in all my skills on my main

My pure has become my main but still with low defence etc, it makes for interesting playing.

Why would it be though? If one player has a dragon scimitar and the other has a bronze longsword, and both players are fighting in the wilderness, you could say that's "unfair".

 

 

 

The fact of the matter is that when you enter the wilderness you are informed that you may well die, and lose all your items, so if you want to minimize that risk, you should come as well equipped and prepared as possible, whether that is through better items or better stats, anything is a 'fair cop' in the wildy.

What's even more annoying than pures are narrow-minded little kids that whine because they don't get their way in a game. :roll: Pures have every right to do everything in the game, players put in just as much, if not more work into them than they do their mains. I know training str at 70+ is painfully slow with 1 def, but I dont whine about that, its the downside of a pure.

 

 

 

Anyway, I made pures cause f2p was getting really boring to level my main up on, so I started a slew of pkers. The most fun were lvl 10 mages in rsc, they killed anything and everything. Now my pker has nearly surpassed my main for highest skill. I've never had money issues cause some of my chars got easter eggs when they came out, and now that I'm playing again they sell for an absurd amount. If only I hadn't used them for food... :wall:

My RSN explains it. To have fun in this game (for me), I must be a pure. A typical main has defense, I got tired of pking and hitting so many 0's or so low.

 

 

 

For example, 0 0 3 0 17 0 10 0 0

 

 

 

I find it quite boring. Especially if the opponent is hitting about the same.

 

 

 

I have a PURE because..

 

 

 

-more challenging

 

-advantages in the wilderness

 

-less discrimination of combat level

 

 

 

*Overall, pures are just fun. Why not own in the wildy and also own at skilling? I think it depends on the individual really. Honestly, I couldn't handle not owning in the wilderness, skilling alone is just boring.

You are being far too defensive, you give reasons for disliking pures (actually you say pures suck because its unfair and takes up the high scores palces which are hardly sensible reasons) and then people come along and say actually i think pures are good because of 'insert reasons' then you flame them. They only pures that suck are the f2p ones. Thanks to pest control there are now a vast amount of awesome pures, with high attack and strength. These are the ones that WILL hit through your defence and will own main stats of the same combat level.

 

 

 

Most people that say "Pures won't hit through my defence" are refering to pures that are a lower combat level. The combat system is designed so that it is hard for anyone to defeat someone of a much higher combat.
