  1. IMO they should make a highscores list for freeplayers and a highscores list for members, because they don't have the same skills.
  2. A party hat falls on karamnja vulcano, near the lava, but doesn't burn. I find it take it, and run away. Goal: To grab the phat How:You just tell how you grabbed it (example:I kick player1, take phat and hide in a cave, and you can say whatever you want, unless it's against the rules, stuff like "i steal a tank and start blowing up everyone who tries to get the phat") How to win: If you get the phat, and do something that no one can solve, you win. No invincible shields, or any of those uber powerfull things are allowded! also, no ultimate powerfull spells or anything like that which can destroy everything are allowded, or it would be to easy. No nuclear bombs neither :P I'm the one who has the phat atm. I run deep into the stronghold of security.
  3. Pking is much more of a f2p activity than p2p, because members generaly don't make pures. Freeplayers have nothing much to do, so many of them pk way more than members. So therefore the answer to this topics question is "yes".
  4. A freeplayer who got 99 in a skill worked very hard, for me, his hard work is worth more than 5$. So therefore he deserves a skillcape. Plus, if jagex give skill capes to f2pers, then freeplayer will stay in the game for longer, because having a skill cape is also an achievement, a goal. The more a freeplayer stays in the game, the more jagex benefit, so I don't see the reason why they didn't gave the skillcapes to freeplayers.
  5. Either I stop and say "what" or take them to stonenge if they start annoying me :wall:
  6. Let's suppose you log in to runescape and you get a message saying "you've been a good player, so you can choose one of these items:" -Becoming a member for 2 years free -The ability of becoming the lvl 703 monster whenever you want and to be able to turn back to a human. -A party hat set -2 billion gp in your bank -The ability of killing macros whenever you want. -A lightsaber (+400 in all attack stats) -Becoming a J mod What would you choose?
  7. "noob" and "lol" are by far the most overused
  8. Saver. Saver all the time. I got 200k in bank and I still hate to spend only.
  9. cooking, fishing and ranging
  10. I almost died in wildy once because of that glitch...
  11. im mining 1000 coal to make cash, but for a while now, i keep 1 hiting coals all the time, like 10 one hits in a row. My mining level is 65 and my total is 777 (the lucky number) is it just pure luck or what? Because this is a massive advantage and massively unfair to others. EDIT: I mine falf of the coals in the mining guild before they start respawning :o
  12. WII FTW its far better than the two others, plus it has the special controller :o its just that the graphs aren't that good compared to the ps3 and xbox but they're still better than ps2
  13. guthix. It has my favourite color, symbol, and i like balance. Guthix is the most powerfull god anyway.
  14. Full rune t or full dhide I allways have my power amulet and fighting boots
  15. Updated. I've made some maths to reinforce my strategy ^^. Ty for the advice.
  16. Lets supposed you have to cash and you really need 10k fast, what would you do? @viz: Indeed, but you have 1 chance out of 200 and 1 chance out of 150 if you have a members ring (i don't know it's name) of getting a rune med. Ankous are fine for levels 80 though :)
  17. Yes, it was a good guide, But we of course everyone thinks differently about things. You mentioned money making for pures, But I usually just skill combat skills, as my main makes money much quicker than pure for both of them. Probably because not everyone spends 5 hours building a good strategy. People go for pure PUREs because it's the easiest or because hitting high is the 1337. But if you think twice hiting high is useless when your oponent blocks your hit. @soulegleon: it's lik when they say "when you're the master you feel so powerfull that you don't even feel anything when you get hurt" thats why hitler has lost the second world war: he didn't knew a thing about what was happening to his soldiers... now you're the same, you completely forget that when you will start hitting 0's due to your oponents defence, you'll be the one eating. HE wont have to eat as much as you, because each time you hit a 0 and he counters with a 10, you'll have to eat and to lose time, and in that time he can hit you another 10. Means hell be hiting 20's while you only hit 10-18. I always wanted to be called hitler :XD: (it gives me a feeling of vast maturity, even though i cant spell maturity) apparently you dont see what im saying quite right. it has been proven by the vast majority of players that this works. also i have a tip: use the tip.it calcualtor to calculate combat -.- kinda a no brainer as its on their forums. what i calculated is that you train on p2p to regualte the hp level, and both chars have 60 hitpoints. if you were to go completely f2p then the stas would come out as follows: 40 defence, 45 hitpoints and 60 ranged 1 defence, 60 hitpoints and 75 ranged as you can see this does no good at all when training on a f2p account all the way. but even so the your original calculations are off by either standard. you would first be required to change the title to: "f2p rune ranger pures guide" and then alter your guide slightly to fit that topic from the start. the only major problem i have with this guide is that when i click on it i expect to find a guide supirior to mine on everything i need to know about any pure ranger account(p2p rune ranger pure, p2p barrows ranger pure, p2p 1 def ranger pure, f2p rune ranger pure, ect.). i would like to note that defense, along with hp, raise your combat the most out of ALL the combat stats. please study the combat system before you write a guide on it. if you want to see a medium quality guide on f2p pures in general then click the link in my sig, but dont bump the thread please, as i am revising it and ill need at least 3 posts to hold my 23000+ words in the new version The pure pure ranger has +15 ranged levels The pure tank ranged has +40 defence levels The pure tank has a huge avantage in blobking attacks and a small disavantage in ranged, when the pure pure ranger has a huge disavantage in defence and a small advantage in ranged. Enough said.
  18. I -never- said fishing are worthless. I said they are useless for making cash in f2p, and you're a member. The only lobster fishing spot in freeplay, ignoring the one in wildy, is like 3 minutes away from the bank, while yews/willows/coal rocks/ironrocks are 10 seconds-1 min away from banks. Thats why I don't suggest fishing. EDIT: I've improved the guide, images and icons have been added :)
  19. Silvertaler= Silvester + Feataler, the names of the heros in the game i made myself, Triandors Attack
  20. One year ago, I realised that the 64 is everywhere. I don't know why but i see it wherever i go. It's just crazy. HEre's a list of where i've seen it lately: -Ninendo 64 -runescape max level is 126 (64+64) -at school the names of my class were 6̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâð4 and later 4̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâð6 -My highest skill in runescape is 64 mining -When I do maths at school there's often 64's and 46's -my max score in a game was exactly 64000 -and alot of other things to be added later... The thing is, I don't even know if it's a lucky number or not, but i see it really everywhere. Even the 126 and the 32. After telling my friends about it they also realised it was true. Other things I know about it are: -6+4=10. I've read a book which explains numbers and stuff, like 1 is the symbol of perfection, 2 the symbol of man, 7 the lucky number, 13 the apocalypse, and 10, which is the first number with a 0, is the number of death o.O -I've also noticed that in the medieval ages, if you read legends and stuff you'll find alot of 64's, theres not a 64 but it is in other words. -talking about death, i've heard that the average age for having a baby is 32 and the average age of death is 64 (thats in europe) again, 32+32=64... Opinions?

  22. --Guide on how to make fast money in F2P by Darthaler-- 1-Intro Many people in Freeplay think it's really hard to make even low amounts of cash like 100k and above. This is wrong, as long as you know how to use your skills, it's actually very easy. In my main account, I got: -10k From lvl 1 to 10 and full steel -50k from lvl 10 to 20 and full studded (changed to ranger) with alot of runes and stuff in bank -100k from lvl 20 to 30, kept full studded, alot of jewels, runes, mithril arrows... -130k from lvl 30 to 40 and a full d hide set, i've done dragon salyer at lvl 36 with crossbow and shield, all quests achieved... -200k from lvl 40 to 50 with a full rune set, full d hide set.... -500k from lvl 50 to 60 with guthix shield and helment, and loads of items in bank, specially expensive stuff -250k from lvl 60 to 67 with full rune t at lvl 60 and all that expensive stuff... These are my stats. I suggest you get something like this if you want to get fast cash from skills. It took me over 6 months of hard working though ^^ but what you can get from working is answome though 2-Now, what skills you'll need... -Mining and smithing is the most usefull skill in this game to become rich. Level that the most you can, it's annoying but you get more cash from that than from woodcutting. -Woodcutting in my opinion is only good when you get lvl 30-40 and 70-80. (for willows and yews) -Crafting is the most usefull skill when you get 70 mining and 70 crafting, so you can mine gold easly and make power amulets. But it's quite hard to get those levels. -Ranging is a combat skill but it's cheap and usefull against cows, because most people melee on cows, and they're very usefull: their hides are sold for 100gp each, what means that 100 hides are worth 10k. It should be your main combat skill. -You can't make cash from cooking and fishing, but i'm not saying they're useless skills, for me they're the second most important and they're the easyest to lvl. 3-Money from hunting (not the hunting skill...) -Cows are your best friend for fast money making. Collecting hides in the beggining is hard but it becomes easyer later, specialy if you have a bow and arrows, so people don't steal your cow. Sell your cowhides in Al Kharid. If you can afford bow and arrows, then I strongly suggest going for it, because with 200 iron arrows you should have enough for at least 200 cowhides. You can buy 200 iron arrows with 3000gp or below, and you'll get 20k from the cowhides. Means you'll get 17-18k. Melee is cheaper but way slower, so it's your choice. If you have enough ranging level, you'll only need crossbow and bolts. Bolts are worth gp each and you don't need to collect them, so it's even faster. -Chickens are good for low lvls, you can sell their feathers for 5gp each. 1000 feathers are easy to get and you can make a profit from them to buy low lvl stuff. Sell the feathers in the chicken farm near the cows in lumbridge. -Giants are the best thing there is for high levels, you can sell their big bones for 300gp each in Varrock. Nothing too hard here, ranging will make you go faster than anything without spending much cash. Plus, if you melee giants in edgeville dungeon you'll rarely kill one, while when you range, you'll get every giant. 4-Now, how to make cash from your skills... Mining: Make 500 steel bars and sell them all in Falador bank for 250-275-300k. It will take you a full day of work if you're low lvl, but later you can do it faster. Below lvl 30 mining and smithing in my opinion it's useless. I've done this from lvl 30 to lvl 64 mining and you get really rich from doing it, you can get full rune t in 4 days of work, but it's annoying, just talk with a friend while doing it, it goes faster. This is where you should mine coal. Coal rocks are often crowded, and are very hard to mine in the beggining. This mining site is to the west of the lumbridge swamp. Crafting: Make silver tiaras/holy symbols and sell them in a general shop, or just wait for lvl 70 to make diamond amulets. Killing cows for their cowhides is fast and gives good amounts of money. But the lumbridge cow farm is often crowded, so you should go to the farm to the suth of falador, the one in the image. Woodcutting: Sell willows for 25gp each at draynor bank and yews for 250gp each in edgeville/varrock. Yews are almost allways surrounded by macroers. This is an extremely rare situation when there are no macroers around a yew tree. In edgeville yews you almost never see macroers though, so I suggest you go there. 5-About levels for hunting -Level 1 to 10: Sell feathers at chicken farm for 5 gp each -Level 10 to 30: Sell cowhides at al kharid for 100gp each, but get them in south falador, it's too hard in lumbridge. -Level 30 and over: Sell big bones for 300gp each at varrock bank.
  23. Indeed, but defence doesn't make you hit less, it just protects you, and it almost doesn't lvl our combat, when most pures at higher lvls have 70 ranged 70 str 40 attack so they can KO with a 2h, so it means you'll be lower lvl and still hit very high. Plus, you should read my guide propely before posting. EDIT: It's true pures are made for high hiting, but the poind of a tank ranger is to hit the highest possible without getting hit aswell.
  24. I'm exactly like you in some aspects. The only difference is the fat i train every skill and I talk alot wherever I go. My friends list on my main is full ^^.
  25. Peace is easyer to accept than war. Therefore i'll help you imrpove your list with my own knowledge. -The owner of the manor is count draynor. He's a vampire. Vampires are all just like dracula: they turned themselves against gods and got punished, they turned to the dark side, and the dark side is death and destruction: that explains why all the trees around the manor are dead trees. -The draynor manor is a home for many real life legends: Count Dracula (count draynor), Frakenstein and his creator(ernest the chicken and that old guy with pointy hair) The countless doors castle (very old story, i doub tany of you know it, it comes from the medieval ages, and that castle was a huge maze with doors exactly like in the manor's maze in the basement, but in the castle there were stairs too) -The chairs are looking for their owner or the last person who sit on them, thats why they follow you: they want to know if you are the owner or not (i've already seen something like this in a movie) -The skelleton inside that room behid the stairs must be from a real life legend too... But seriously, there's nothing much to say about the manor...
