Possibility of other metal C-Balls?

Featured Replies

Bringing the dwarf's granite boots into the game would be a way better update than cannons with higher metal?

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I doubt they'll bring any other types of cannonballs into the game because, no matter what anyone says about RS being entirely fictional, they DO try to keep the game somewhat based on reality.

And in reality, I think steel is used for cannonballs because it's an alloy which, again I'm kind of guessing, is lighter than other metals.

I'm guessing a rune cannonball would be absurdly heavy and would do no less than destroy the cannon upon being fired.

i dont see how its going to help when we can hit a max of 30 already with a cannon. i highly doubt jagex would release new cannon balls because the max's would have to be atleast in the 60s for rune. theirfore imagine the amount of slayer/range exp and the amount of pricey items gained from using the cannons. it would just screw everyone up.

As cool as getting better metal types of cannon balls would be, I don't think they will make such a major change so late. And imagine what rune can hit if steel already hits 30

Thinking technologically here. The density of the metal fired from the cannon wouldn't change a thing, its the force in which the thing is fired from the cannon. So rune/steel/dragon/mith.. whatever.. would all hit the same if they were fired with the same force. So in other words, whatever metal, 30 is the max. And that already hurts.

yeah but thats now how jagex thinks about things. arrows and bows for instance

thats been around for a while im not sure why they would do it now

Kiss me, i'm part Irish!

I'd better leave his expensive dwarven balls alone.

That's what she said. Hi-oh! *high fives my inner 10 year old*

On a serious note, I doubt they'd have plans to change it now, seeing as cannons were released three or so years ago.

different metals sharpen better? (I'm sticking up for Jagex, oh noes what has the world come to?) Cannonballs are merely blunt balls.. hehe.. blunt balls

I think it would be far more logical to add a new hunter animal to catch that can be loaded into a cannon. It can become like a giant flame thrower that will hit all monsters within 6 squares in a straight line (or all around, like a Catherine Wheel).

I can see it now ... 8-)

P.S. - don't flame me ... this is a joke!
