June 1, 200719 yr well, i wasn't aware of the enormity of money that some had so when i heard someone say "selling 3k" I almost gave him 3gp. Also, i didn't know about general stores so i was devastated when i lost my tinderbox and stuff.
June 1, 200719 yr Well i was lucky wen i was a noob, for the first time in my life i had found varrok, so many people, i remember loving every minute of it. then a level 50-65 said giving away free stuff...i was like okay, and i traded him. he gave me like 60k, full green d hide and rune pik an axe. it was the happiest day of my runescape life... \ I was like level 7, i didnt no the concept of a bank lol. i would go round trading every1 i saw and show them how rich i was!! i remember being in falador seeing more than one person killing a guard at one time. i thought it was like that in varrok. i called a friend over and asked if he would help me kill it...i started off killing it, i was getting owned, he tried to help (we didnt no what multi combat was at the time) and i died...i lost everythin apart from green d hide chest and my rune items. i was stuffed. but that wasnt the end of my disaster...i carried on showing off, a guy offered to trim my rune axe and rune pick, how dumb was i, i handed it to him...i lost everything in the matter of a week...i stopped playing runesape for a month!!! :uhh:
June 1, 200719 yr What I really remember as my most prized possesion was either my first r2h, which I bought for 220k or my rune full helm, which I got from greater demons (I jumped out of my seat) which was worth like 180k at the time If anyone doubts the prices, they were the normal prices for those days, in rsc... Good old RSC... I also remember getting goblin mail, and trying to use everything I had to make it wearable...:P (ie. using it on anvil..)
June 1, 200719 yr My mith dagger. I got it at level 10 so of course I couldn't use it. I kept working my attack at the Blue Moon Inn until I could use it. When you come to a fork in the road...TAKE IT!

I wasnt sure hat to do with it,, seeing as i wasnt an "elite" and couldnt wield it yet. June 1, 200719 yr I loved my mithril longsword. I waited in the goblin house by Lumbridge and guarded the iron dagger spawn, then sold them to the Varrock sword store to make money. I had a collection of anti-dragon breath shields too. I didn't know what they were for.
June 1, 200719 yr When I was really a noob, COWHIDES. I was killing the little cow calves (I was scared the big cows would pwn me) and I kept getting these weird-looking white cowhides. So i stored them in my bank in Varrock (long trip, eh?) until I had about 100. Later on, when I was like level 11 with full bronze, I was in Al-Kharid bank. I saw someone saying "Buying hides 100ea!!!" So I asked him if he meant cowhides, he said yes. :ohnoes: :ohnoes: :ohnoes: Bought my hides for 10k, at which point, I ran around the house celebrating. I bought full steel and a steel scimmy, it was probably the happiest day of my life. Later on, as a member, I was killing Baby Blue Dragons for experience and bones. Some guy was fighing the Blue Dragons in full Dragon (anti-fire shield) and Whip with his protection prayer on. When his prayer ran out, he started running away, but sadly (not for me though) the Dragon took one last shot at him and he died. I got Obby Cape, D Med, Glory, Wealth, and Rune Boots from him. :shock: :shock: :shock: I even asked if he wanted his stuff back but he logged. I was happier than the time i got my first 10k! And, later, if I get my whip, I'll be very happy! \ \
June 1, 200719 yr mine is proberly a certificate i found on the floor. I kept it for no reason. Then one day i started the shield of arrav quest. And i found out i didnt need to do the quest cos i got the final item. :D I guess it was lucky me No, actually when you try and turn it in before you finish the quest, the king says, "The certificate doesn't even have your name on it!" I actually picked up some stuff off of somebody who died at Hill Giants, I think he wasn't paying attention to hp. Me and a couple other players rushed the spot where he died. One of the things I picked up was one of the halves of the Shield of Arrav. The other couple of things were a pair of rune boots and an obby cape, which were also nice. Having the Shield half let me do the rest of the quest myself without another partner to get the other half. I ended up with an extra certificate that would have had a name on it that I didn't know, because I didn't know whose stuff I took. June 1, 200719 yr um, well, my stories complicated. i went from btronze, to steel, to addy (for like 2 days on the addy) total skiped rune, to dragon, and to barrows i never got attacked to my armor, but i have gotten attached to my guthans lately... :roll: I may be weird, but I'm saving up to be eccentric!

June 1, 200719 yr One time I saw 2 mithril wc axes in the general store in Falador, but I couldn't afford them because they were about 500gp each. Then while I was mining near rimmington, this rich guy came and gave me 1000gp for mining some clay for him. I hurried back to the general store, but the axes were gone. ):

June 1, 200719 yr I loved the day when I found an addy (t) helm on the ground in front of the al kahrid bank. Just sitting there so I ran picked it up and took off with it on. Also when I got my yo-yo from Santa in 2004 was awesome. I was only lvl 10 at the time so I thought I was the coolest person in teh world. I still have my first yo-yo and sstill play with it when I get bored and just stand around..

June 1, 200719 yr I treasured my fire staff like a diamond. I was amazed how I could hit an amazing 8 with it. Now I'm not saying she's a golddigger, but she ain't messing with no broke skiller.
June 1, 200719 yr on my first day this level 30 came up to me and traded an addy plate and legs and accepted the first screen, i was like "WOW!! HE'S ACTUALLY GIVING THIS TO ME!!" but then he decline the second screen....bummer, i rember keeping my bronze chainmail which i found in dwarf mines for a long time. *sigh* such a crappy armour... Noob: Can I have your sausages plzI guess he was referring to my whip.i hope so :shock:Master agility-er (=/) in the making, only 29 levels to go =]
