May 25, 200719 yr I was just doing tutorial island on a pure I'm going to make called rs 007, and i noticed that the combat instructor is lvl 146. but with steel platelegs and some steel arm thingy? Like i understand the dragon Square shield, but if he can afford that why not a rune scimmy at least? Look at picture to understand what I'm saying :mrgreen:

May 26, 200719 yr well, i know when i started playing, steel looked pretty darn good. who needs that rune stuff anyway... :P I guess cause I never saw the need. I also felt that if I moved into the version of the game that was always changing that it would in some way invalidate the work that I had already put into my account.
May 26, 200719 yr He's just special. Besides, there's no reason to be concerned about him, you won't see him ever again unless you get members and use him as a slayer master. But then he has no level. In any case, you aren't able to fight him, so really, don't worry about it.

May 27, 200719 yr well i think that in a postbag from the hedge he said he uses a steel 2h to show he is exceptionally strong, (holds a 2h with 1 hand) but he doesn't want to have a huge advantage over his enemies
May 27, 200719 yr vannaka is the strongest warriour so he doesnt need our fancy weapons to 1 hit us. steel brassard steel platelegs no helm. hes a real man unlike us needing protection from dragon and barrows. get over it npc's wear differant things to us.just like that orange armour the firemaking master wears
May 27, 200719 yr He has a so great defence level that he doesn't need any really good armour and a such good attack and strenght level that he doesn't need any dragon or rune weapon to kill the best monsters in RS :). Or that's my theory anyway :) Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
May 27, 200719 yr I don't know if any of you have noticed, but he used to be lvl 149, now he dropped to lvl 146. His combat is still impressive, but I'm just pointing it out.
