Althalus
Not Really. I much rather reply to posts I really like rather than trying to spam a post I'm not interested in. That way my posts are worthwhile.

X_B345T_X
To be honest.. kinda (i voted yes) I liek to be sorta known in the community, and i like to get to know other cool people.. so pposting is the only way to find out their personality/sense of humour etc etc

dusqi
Sometimes I glance at someone's post count and am surprised how high it is.. usually because they frequent one of the boards that I rarely look at such as Media :) For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns. The time when the living and the dead exist as one. expertgamer
the younger you are, the more important it is to you. trust me, i've learned. hell i go to forums for fun, one forum you don't even have post count and i still like browsing through it. ____
post count shows how active a user is.....Not really. You can have someone who comes on the board once a day for 30 min to an hour and make a few dozen posts. Then you can have someone who comes on for 30min post once or twice and do that half a dozen or so times a day. The first person is not more active. Erik
No, all postcount does, is make n00bs post too much, so mods need to delete their spam.
Mercifull
No, all postcount does, is make n00bs post too much, so mods need to delete their spam. mods never delete they move to a deleted section. that way every post is logged and recorded so admins can search for persistant offenders. However the downside to this is that the postcounts are never decreased :P Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. OdesaTahra
As you can see by my count, it isn't I try to make my posts worthwhile and spamless. I hate it how people will try to cheat like it's some game. I think that people's individual posts will bring more respect than their total count. Jens14
It isn't very important but it has use, I honestly must say I look differently to a person with 13 posts and a person with 1k posts
Augsback
No, what's a post count?
JohnnySmum
Nah, the only way it matters is when someone with 2 posts includes a link (like punk said earlier). I wouldn't mind if postcount was removed entirely. I've seen alot of other forums adopt that system, and they seem to run just fine.
Turbobart
I think it gives a first impression, like Jens said, I'm not looking the same way to a person with 50 posts and a person with over 2000 posts.
lagatag
You shoulda had sometimes cus like i care about my post count, and others if they have like a topic that says "PmG frerune go to blablabla insert link here" Mostly join date combnined with post count is more important cus it shows whther they spam or hardly ever post. Honest1
I belive that about 15 out of those 23 percent of you saying yes are ganna be banned.. you need to learn that you should be posting for quality over quality... IF I went around posting mindless junk (as I so frequently see) and others did as well... this would be a very messy board.. Look at my post count not.. not even 200 yet.. I could have this up to 400 by the end of tommorow if I wanted 2 ... but, I would have to do stupid posting... and that isnt ganna happen... Post resonable and think of things this way... These forums arnt a compitition to see who can spend more time online.. and who has a faster computer.. thats all post count shows.. This board is like a family... We all stick together.. we can chat... and just have fun talking about things that you care about.. with people who can share a common interest.. Most of all tho... To make freinds.. Thank you.. _ssgotenks_
yes, and no. for me to have high post count, is not a big deal. im active...so mine'll get up there. but, with just over 300 posts, i wouldnt say im the most active...*points to the 800 sum posts guy* thats just a lot of spam, from the looks of it. dont know for sure though. but, if someone comes claiming to be selling like, 5 p hats...and they have just 1 or 2 posts...im usually skeptical...
