I completely made up my path on Re-Education, screwed it up twice, and ended up in 17th overall for the Wii (if I had a SH that is) and a lot further down but still up there on all systems. I know a better one if I can be bothered reduxing, it would probably get me 15k+ more points. Never looked up a SP path in my life :P

 

 

 

the RETL path is crazy. Requires three 1 sp phrase activations and one 0 phrase activation. I cannot even come close to doing it.

you have to tense up your wrist until it shakes, then channel that motion into hitting the green button.

 

 

 

what you were seeing: on the controller, as on the guitar, only the "highest" color being held down on a single note is counted, so you can alternatly tap green and red, while holding blue, to hit a fast string of blue notes.

I fail at GH3 now. Why can't they keep a consistent formula throughout all the games? I get used to the nuances of one and it screws me over when I try to play the other. Failed TTFAF halfway through the solos . . .

I've only fully comboed Blues Buster once (:() but I can usually get about halfway into it, and that's without ever practicing it. The ending, however, is insane.

I honestly don't think the ending is that hard except for the fast BYG's, and those are tappable.

You're talking to the person who can barely tap But after looking at the chart, they're only 16.2 NPS, which means that since you're holding the G, you only have to move your fingers at 10.8 NPS (technically you actually have to do small sections at 16.2 NPS followed by small breaks, but thanks to the timing window, you can take more time on the non-break part)... I can do faster parts with relative ease, yet I can't hold combo into that measure at all :|

Yup, there is only one small section in the fast strumming that I can't hit.

I'm currently going for a My Curse re-FC because I know I can improve my score (and it's a league song), as well as either upperbound or optimal on Impulse. I've hit all squeezes for optimal on Impulse, but one of them I've only managed once, so I may have to settle for upperbound (which is 200 points lower).

Are the GH instruments compatible with Rock Band 2 for Wii? Logic says they aren't, as they weren't for RB1, but NP's RB2 review says yes. If they are I may get the RB game only for Christmas.

I went crazy today and beat career vocals on expert. It was actually pretty fun to sing.

 

 

 

The hardest song to beat was Shiver because he is always altering pitch. Almost failed in the beginning before I caught on. After that it was pretty easy.

My friend bought GH:WT for PS3 today with the guitar.

 

 

 

The frets feel good but the strum bar, ugh, too loose. So much for getting that guitar then to replace my Les Paul :(

 

 

 

Whammy bar also seemed to not respond straight away.
