It feels really awkward at first, but once you play for a bit you get more comfortable and it's actually really fun. His first powerup is always like Lefty Flip or Double Notes The one time he gets a broken string or whammy, I miss the power up I blew my only shot at beating him too. I had a whammy powerup and I activated a second too early so he went to the red but didn't fail >.< So i've given up. BR BR BR? I couldn't remember as I didn't have the game at hand. Hot for Teacher is the only one not even 4 stars, others are close as damn it (Overkill is 2.771 I believe) I honestly thought I had 5*ed the set. Anyways, I FC'ed Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast) and re-FC'ed Obstacle 1 5 minutes ago. Yesterday I re-FC'ed Beautiful Disaster and What I've Done. Still working though so I expect a couple more FCs before I'm through tonight. Best thing so far: 2nd Place on 360, 3rd for All Systems - Tied with Lo7 and THABEAST Better yet (or worse, since it would mean redoing that), I've had 8 more points after the first activation, and I could get some ticks on the last. bongo_man Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 Obtained two new FC's today (well, yesterday technically...): 'La Bamba', and 'Lazy Eye' [hide=La Bamba, FC #6] After many, MANY chokes and stupid misses, I finally managed to get the FC. I had about 6 runs where I reached the last streak of orange notes and overstrummed, so it's a good thing this song is short because I only have so much patience :|[/hide] [hide=Lazy Eye, FC #5] This is probably my favourite song in the game, and this was also my first actual attempt at making a path on my own since no one has made an approved path yet (as far as I'm concerned). I didn't go into all the calculations and whatnot to figure out a good path, I basically decided which spot was good to activate by looking at the blank chart for the song. It gave me second place overall, but I'm still 2,400 points behind Piso in first place, which means my path needs work...[/hide] I also made a video of my Lazy Eye FC, so expect that to be uploaded by tomorrow :) And I also hope to get a BYOB FC on vid as well, the FC is imminent! Although Mr. Brightside has the potential to be really fun. I can play the melody on a real guitar and it seems like an easy translation. Nope, The outro has over 200 notes in it. I've FCed it in Practice, just always mess up in a real run. Maybe ;) Song is really annoying me, I either: mess up in the first 100 notes, make it to the last solo and miss there or miss in the outro. Song isn't too hard, just long and choketastic. DarkDude Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 Gah, just had a run where I completely messed up in Solo 3B (It's a pain in the arse) and FCed everything else (Overstrummed the outro >_<), left me with 97% :s FC is close, just got to get more consistent at Solo 3B and i'll have it.
