Diesel Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 As for my progress, I still can't quite get Raining Blood still. The Flood really gets me if I get past Mosh 1. (If) I've been going back and 5* some of the songs that I didn't do too well on the first time around. Hopefully the little bit of practice will help me out for Raining Blood, although I think I may just have to take it to practice mode-full song-normal speed. You know, just to get familiar with playing the whole song at once. Riku3220 Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 THERE IS NO NEED TO USE YOUR PINKY FINGER IN THIS GAME seriously i'm 13 and my index finger and ring finger can reach from green to orange easily index finger on red, middle finger on yellow, ring finger on blue, move when nesscicary (before anyone says that i'm not suitable to give advice i only need to finish One, NotB, and RB on expert) It should be noted that for most people, it would be easier to use the pinky once they get used to it to do the long hammer ons in fast solos in stuff. Logically, it just makes sense that four fingers would be better than three if you can get used to it. umm is it cheating to do those long hammer-ons with my single index finger? :oops: Not if you can do it. That's crazy though. I often do three notes or so but I haven't really tried to do any longer than that. Before, using a guitar i could only barely play most songs on medium, but now I can play songs like raining bloood and Through the Fire And Flames on Hard with ease. It does take some of the fun away though. I really wanna complete TFAF We need more information to help you... What can you do now? What difficulty of ttfatf? ect. If you can't do simple hammer-ons or the orange, forget about ttfatf on expert/hard, maybe even medium if you cant move your fingers very fast I got owned by TFAF on medium today I need some advices on becoming an expert player, my friend says it takes a week. Im stuck on black sunshine on expert though. For Black Sunshine the part I was stuck on was when it was like... Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange (non hammer-on), so I'm assuming that's whats troubling you to. What I did was I kind of, "slid" my index finger down the guitar while I down-strummed really fast. I don't know how good advice that is, lol. TTFATF update: I get past the intro about 50-60% of the time, but haven't made it past 22% yet :( I've failed on the exact same spot like 4 times in a row now lol (That's why you have more groupies then me Dadieseldude, I pretty much only do TTFATF now :XD: ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lol, I've made it past 70% on Before I Forget and Knights of Cydonia, but the furthest I've gotten on 3's and 7's is 30 percent. I just can not figure out those wierd chords. And it figures that they would be prevalent throughout the song #-o . Maybe being gone for the weekend will gve me some time to recharge or something :lol: . It was beautiful. also got up to tier 7 on expert, cant beat any of them yet.. I always fail after the triplets on knights of cydonia, and the rest of them are way too hard at the moment. I suck at Battles, but I'm reasonably good at normal songs. -.- I've been 4- or 5-starring Medium songs in QuickPlay, and either 3- or 4-starring Hard songs as well, but I can't beat Slash on Medium...
