tastywheat1
You are talking rubish. And hopefully you have realized it by now. Look up the amount of slayers level 85. How many people trained slayer for 85. They will 'hardly' bother to get the millions of extra experience for level 90. To get 'a bow' worth probaly under 1.5m. The result, they stick to Abby Demons, dropping 'a whip' worth 1.5m Saves them time. +1 Im back =]
reaper88888
Eh, given the GB@JT's past history with ranged, it'll prolly end up being slightly better than the msb, and will have some crap special like lowering the target's farming for the dmg hit... So no worrying about the whip prices [bleep]ing. There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.
Umega
i don't understand crap what you say... but i make up from this that there is a new bow? EDIT= you only need 60 range for it... can't be anything really special The special could be very good, say, steal prayer? No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug. TheWilch
Then there's the fact that when the first few people had 85 slayer Jagex had NOT added the special drops yet. thats no fact. FACT when fir3g0d reached 85 slayer (1st person) he went to kill abysmal demons for who knows how long. result , 1st person with a whip who then sold it for 60m in falador w2. so whered u hear jagex didnt release the special drops b4 some 1 got 85 slayer..... cuz i remember being on DI fourms seeing the first whip along with everyone else who was anyone. miracleman58
so then with so many people tryin to predict the future on this thread im gonna have a go ......... Step 1 - increase in people racing for 83 hunter = chins price fall. Step 2 - pures train range due to so fast exp not that expensive anymore, dominate the wildy because they see an option to train range (awsome new wep/bow) Step 3 - NO melee pures because they will be gettin shredded (same for mage) maybe some staker will stik around The rich will stay rich bascicaly... being able to use the best equipment to kill other people with not so good stuff... be it stakin or pking  1593th to 99 Farming - July 08. muggiwhplar
The deciding factor in whether or not the bow will suck or rock is its firing rate. If it's as fast as a shortbow then everybody will want it. If it's as fast as a longbow then I'll just stick to my crystal bow.
wakka102
i'm excited. Even if the bow sucks, the novelty of having it will drive the price for at least a week or 2, hopefully I can make a decent profit in that time =D>
theseercull
:shame: Just because it only takes 60 range to wield doesn't mean it won't be good. Mage shorts can hit up to 25 so obviously a dark bow with dragon arrows will hit upwards of 30, which is nothing to frown upon. Future Home Of theseercull's SignatureIt'll be grand, I can assure you ^.^
xSxqPowerx
It will be a regular bow that is better than the magic bow, which is all I've ever wanted in terms of a range update
the_drunk_dude
you only need 60attack for a dds and that's special..... cause of the combo spec, range already has a 2 shot spec
Macmaster92
it's weird the lv requirement IMO, only 60 range to wield, but is it gonna be the only one that can use drag arrows?, cause by the looks of the BTS, it's the only one that will be able too, shouldn't mage be able to as well? Since when has mage used arrows :-k He is talking about mage bows.. #-o I really hope chins do not go down, i just started my goal of 99 hunter and i do not want my 30m bonus to just disapear.... So for me i do plan on training after 85 to 90+ but not because of the dark bow RSN: drgnslyer15 15 skills 90+ - 10 skills 99 - 200m+ total exp

I disagree... I think the bow is going to start at least 30mill for the first 3-4 days after that it will drop probably to around 10mill or up to 60mill depending on the usefullness and the rareity.. Arrows will start at 10-15k each i can't see even stakers paying more thatn that... I think people are forgetting that there is a HUGE amount of rich range stakers out there who are dieing to get a better weapon than obby rings i think this bow wont be better then obby rings... probemly this bow is long and slow but more powerfull then cbow with the new arrows... ^^ click my sig for my lesser ranging guide ^^jwrm22: 4816th > 99 cooking 100% f2p !1172 total! + 140mil in items.i dont play anymore... i think rs is ruined

Trust me, the drops were not released. I'm 100% sure Mauls, Black Mystic top and rune boots weren't released until after people got those levels. I'm 90% sure the whip was the same. From what I remember: All monsters than Gargoyles, Abyssals and Nechs had no rare drops and Abyssals had NO drops at all. When people got 75 for Gargoyles Jagex added Mauls, Red Mystic Tops and addy boots. I believe they also added Rune boots at this time. Abyssals still had NO drops until someone was close to 85, I'm not sure if whip was added along with the other abyssal drops, but I believe it took someone a good few days to get a whip off them. The Maul etc. were found due to hex editing, Jagex Denied their existance. The reason the drops were NOT added to start with was people would use poison to kill the monsters. I tried it and I don't believe they dropped anything but ashes. Someone will probably correct me on a few things, but it went something like that.
