Runescape geographical analysis [long]

Featured Replies

extremely interesting post! however, you are just relating RS compared to earth. for all the know, the planet that RS occurs on could be flat, 10 times bigger than earth, or 5 times smaller. Either way it wouldn't matter because Jagex can keep expanding for as long as they want (as long as they can afford the space).

good read :D alil advanced but i managed!

i just wanna point out somthing about there being another continent. since the warriors guild and the guy that sells bolt racks have came into runescape ive always had my mind set on a western continent. examine some of the people or talk to them and they mention they are from the west (along with cyclopses) and the guy that sells the bolt racks in Port Phasmatys mentions hes from the west.

At some point or another we're gonna find another RS continent? That's amazing to hear. I'd rather that than small islands Jagex are making around the current continent.

you have got a butt load of free time on your hands there.

very nice food for thought. perhaps the elves populate more of the world than we really know, there doesn't seem to be a lack of land near prrfindas(sp?)

now my brain hurst from all that math -.-

wow that was a really brilliant analysis you did there. and this should most certainly be slightly remoulded and sent to the tip.it times

and another thing...just think if we are missing 93% of gleinor then there must be a wealth of other things still available to be done but haven't been released yet \'

please, please e-mail this to JaGEX so they may see how constricted things are. I noticed how every town is soooo close together that it barely takes 30 seconds to go to another town making teleporting just a minor conveinence

Exactamundo. (A word which I have never used before and will never use again)

And of course, there is the north, where the large proportion of powerful entities seem keen to go to, and since the wilderness has a coastline, there must be another continent to the north.

 Awesome and very interesting read. How long time did it take you to figure all this out?

here's another hawt pic 8-)

You may be overthinking this. Jagex can do whatever the hell they want in their game. Its great you took the time to calculate all of this but Rs can be changed at virtually any time Jagex wants it.

I really have to appluad you for the large amount of work it took for you to do this work. I am truely amazed and loved reading it.

Great work! :D

I must agree.

This is a well written article. Nice research and thinking, this should be a Times article.

R.I.P The Old Nite. Heroes get remembered. But Legends never die. You were truly a Runescape Legend

This is an impressive article. Well thought out and definitly well calculated. If the runescape world as we perceive it is in fact divided into continents, then this could maybe give way to devlopment of different sections of runescape where you choose which continent you would like to live on, each one giving different geographical advantages and disadvantages.

Wow... someone did their research...

Nice job I love it. :D

look at the current east coast and west coast  a port on each side ready for anything? port tyras has the west ready and the east has port phasmatys.
