June 8, 200719 yr since the new dark bows are coming out theres a possibility that all the other BOWS AND ARROWS will drop dramaticly, but i dont understand how other items prices would drop. im pretty sure other items have came out and the economy only shifted slightly. i dont think this would make runescape take a turn for the worse, or go into a great depression state. people will still need logs and food, i dont understand how anything would change that. the macroers play a huge roll in prices, but i dont think anything would change without warning so dramaticly (like a full blown market crash ) done with runescape
June 8, 200719 yr my opinion: with jagex banning all the bots, prices will end up at what they should've been if the bots never showed up bots will never be out of the game, there is always people who want an unfair advantage and will go to great odds to make bots. About every 3 months a major macro program comes out. June 8, 200719 yr Yeah, that article addresses what's going on right now. There's no crash though. The market would need some kind of crazy catalyst, which as of now, isn't happening. A rumor of a crash might dent things just because people get scared and works like a self fulfilling prophecy, but usually its the people who get scared who do the most damage to themselves, and everyone else stays fine because the market returns to normal pretty quickly.
June 8, 200719 yr Only way I could think of making a market crash was if an "everything" shop was invented and in that shop you could buy any item you wanted at Jagex's orginal intended prices.
