subtle_rune Posted June 8, 2007 Share Posted June 8, 2007 Have you ever got annoyed at having to switch to your stats tab to look when you will gain a level? Or have you wasted time waiting for the exp to come up just to see how much until your next level? Introducing: The Exp Countdown! Basically, this is a new feature that is completely optional; if you don't want to use it, you don't have to. The Exp Countdown will say how much exp you have left until your next level in a particular skill in the top left hand corner. You will be able to have up to 5 skills displayed at any one time. The whole idea is that you will be able to see how much exp you need until your next level, regardless what menu tab you are on, and with no waiting for the exp to appear. To use the feature, you right click the skill you want to be shown, and click on "Show Exp Remaining". If you want to remove that skill, you simply right click the skill and click "Hide Exp Remaining", which is in the same place as Show Exp Remaining. If you do not understand, here is a picture demonstrating it. If the top left hand corner is being taken up by another feature, for example the Castle Wars information (I can't remember what is in what corner, so if someone would like to inform me that would be great), the exp remaining would move further right, so as to be in the middle of the top of the screen, if you get what I mean. Note: This suggestion is still a work in progress. That means that you can suggest new placements for it, what colour the exp font should be, etc. If you don't understand anything, don't be afraid to ask. Or is this for when you're fighting something and can't change tabs for fear of death :-k I see your point, but if I remember correctly, before the last couple of skills, the exp came up instantly in the skills tab, and so having to wait for it got on a number of people's nerves. Having it in a prominent position would help a lot of people. Also, you will still be able to look at the exp the old way, which means you don't have to use it if you don't want to.
