June 19, 200719 yr well i dont know if anyone else has heard it but theres a rumour going round that you can only get the visage drop if you have to talk to Oziach before you can get the drop. i am hoping this is not true otherwise my hours of dragon slaying will be in vain i would really like people to share their knowlage on this subject, if you have had the drop could you please say wether you have spoken to him or not. im hoping this is just an attempt to stop the prices rising ~Aff~ By the way, Verac only hits through prayer as an NPC, so if you wear it against people who prays, it wouldn't work.

June 19, 200719 yr Don't expect it anytime soon, it's a very very rare drop. Probably rarer than the left half shield. If I get one i'll get one, but that'll only be when im collecting bones for 70 prayer and slayer tasks from time to time.
June 19, 200719 yr I've used up 20k chaos on steels/irons and havnt had a drop so dont expect one anytime soon. on topic: it would seem to make sense that you would need to talk to him.. when you do, theres an option to say 'ok i'll try to find the visage' as if you're starting a quest. you can decline to find it too. also, i saw in a screened drop that it comes as a secondary drop like clues do. going on the logic that if you have a clue already then another wont drop.. you can work out that whether a secondary drop will happen can be controlled and therefore might be the case with the visage. It's pretty much speculation on my part and i havn't seen the post that the mod made. if someone can screen the post then i'll stand corrected

I did lots of reds until a tipiter filled me in about Mod Ash edit (Adult black, KBD, Iron and Steel, Skeletal Wyvern) Barrows Drops: Guthan's platelegs and War Spear, Dharok's plate body and Great Axe, Verac's Flail, Verac's Helm x 2, Ahrim's top, Dharok's plate legs Dragon Drops: Medium Helm x 4, Shield Left Half, plate legs x 2, skirt x 2.

All they said was it was droped by "powerful dragons" all dragons are powerful! Now half the Runescape population is trying for the visage.
June 19, 200719 yr Im after granite legs tbh. I know the chances of the shield. I say its maybe 4x rarer than chain from dusties judging by how many people have gotten drops so far. Nearly 600 wyverns and no legs.
June 19, 200719 yr Lol, omfg.. On my main, C1one, I killed I think it was 18 Steel Drags when I started to give up and fight a KBD then. I killed one KBD... Bam! Dropped it! I did talk to Oziach before I even started killing Steels, but I guess in my experience, you have to talk to Oziach before you can get the drop. \ \ \
June 20, 200719 yr To my knowledge, wyverns and irons drop them? What other dragon? No clue. All in all, (adult) Black Dragons, Iron Dragons, Steel Dragons, Skeletal Wyverens, and the King Black Dragon drop them. So fat chance I'll get one soon. :cry: Archaeology Supporter

I got a pair of legs after like 200 :) No Visage though :( And don't expect one any time soon, they are RARER than dragon drops (Confirmed by a mod, sorry, no pics, your choice to believe me or not but I have nothing to gain from lying) plus a limited number of monsters drop them.
