F2P has to suggest!

I find it extremely annoying that F2P players cannot suggest anything. The least Jagex could do is make the suggest box we all have to use contain more than 400 chars. F2P makes up the bulk of the runescaping community and has compared to P2P as we can see on these forums some very good ideas. Jagex and the players P2P and F2P are all missing out. Its a lose, lose, go-down-screaming situation. The ability to suggest would help a lot of the other problems go away (wich we cannot suggest because my suggestion hasn't been handeld)

F2P should have the ability to post in the suggestion section of the runescape forums or have a suggestion box with more than 400 characters which is not enough to write any full message.

I know I have just posted a suggestion on suggesting suggesting for F2P players but P2P players will benefit from this as well so could some nice P2P players please suggest this in the forum we're trying to get acces to?

What do you think?

They are going to be flooded with "More Rights for F2P" suggestions, not to mention the load they have already with Customer Support for F2P and P2P.

erkid"]Lol, no.. hahah I could see it now. Tons of noobs posting random useless junk. People spamming the boards then making new accounts then spamming more and more. It'll be pointless..

Exactly... the spam would be horrible, plus i dont think jagex would have the time to go through all the suggestions for F2P... good idea... but

Not every single F2per, only the ones with over 10M or 20M totall exp or something, those F2pers aren't noobs any more and most of them won't spam. I even think most F2p players with over 20M experience will act less like a noob as the average member... :)

I am F2P. But I still don't support. As many low levels will spam. Then recreate and spam more. Maybe they should bring back the suggestion message instead. So you don't have to use "Other Comments" which are automated responses.

Well, as much as this could help, I think quite a bit of the P2P players have already made the official forums close to the worst forums on the planet. I don't think adding about a few hundred thousand more people would help them at all. I do agree that F2P players should have a right to make suggestions, because F2P players do affect the runescape community more than a lot of people would like to beguile themselves into believing.

The RSOF would be better if they were a friendlier colour.

They scare me. :ohnoes:

On a serious note, a f2p suggestion box, there would be some very good suggestions from the decent players. But who wants to bet there would be, '0mgz y do i k3ep gettin hacked, i just w4nt my armour trimm3d fgs!'

P2P offers more and better ways of making money than f2p. That's one of the cons you just have to play with if you don't feel like having 1 bigmac meal less per month.

As much as I would like to support this I have to say no. For the reason that seems to be unanimous the fact that people would start multiple accounts just to spam on it. It might work if there was a level requirement along with a maximum number of blackmarks you can have to be able to post on it.

As you say, you are right, F2P makes up about 800,000 of the 1,000,000 accounts. Yet, only about 250,000 of them stay on runescape long enough and never get a membership. Now I'd estimate that 205,000 of them have no will in runescape and ruin the Runescape comunity by autoing, selfishness, pure rudeness, greed, spam, begging and more. that 45,000 players... well... I feel bad that they don't have a membership...

As for members, I read there are about 200,000-250,000 members, but for the sake of simplocity, I'll say 200,000.

Out of that 200,000 about 160,000 are active.

Out of those active, about 40,000-70,000 are Community Ruiners.

Another thing, Jagex bans SO many players EVERY SINGLE DAY, I would estimate about 8,000 F2p a day and 2,000 P2p a day. But I like big numbers and could be way off.

Why make it easier for the 255,000 (around there) get a chance to spam and be even worse?

English is my third language, but I am still trying.

Yeah, I would like to be able to post on the RSOF, but there's always the problem of spamming. They get more than enough as-is! I think it would be a better idea for Jagex to hire some people whose express duty is to scout the fan sites for good ideas, and to make official replies. This will be a better way to do things than what we have now, and we won't really have to change much. What do you think?

I agree. Jagex's suggestion board is pretty lame. Us members can't even suggest things for f2p. It's really stupid. Jagex should at least get rid of that dumb posting rule.

Also, I really don't have a problem with f2ps posting on the boards either. f2p used to be able to post on the boards in the old days(before they took them down and then eventally brought them back for members only).
