Has anyone killing the dust devils noticed this?

 

 

 

After every single gem i cut at dust devils I get some sort of random event.... Honestly, it's after every single gem I cut.... But it only happens when I'm at the dust devils...

 

 

 

Anyone else found this?

I usually get it when alching one of their drops. It's not a bug though... Jagex think you're an autoer lol. ;)

But surely not afther every gem I cut is normal.... Randoms shouldn't happen that often.

Get 20 or so uncut gems then make a video, if you get 20 in a row then I'll say something weird is going on. ;)

I'm sorry to say that Jagex have dramatically increased the number of randoms recently... check the other forums and you'll see.

 

 

 

Dunno why, if a random every 20mins won't stop an autoer, then what makes them think a random every 5-10mins will? They're ruining the game for honest players like us, just so they can slightly inconvenience some autoers... go figure.

 

 

 

Complain to Jagex customer support if you feel strongly about it like I do.

It is not at all strange. I got full of all random event costume (besides mime, i am still missing the mask ) by buying uncut gems from varrock gen store on a busy world, and then doing this: Leave the shop, try and cut a gem, get a random. That, and while superheating steel bars (1k at a time) I once got 4 drill sargents...in a row...all within 2 hours... :-k

I have noticed a drastic increase in the amount of teleporting Randoms, lately. Yesterday, in the span of TWO hours, I got two Prison Pete twice and three Drill Demons. There has definitely been a change in the frequency of Random Events.

what he's saying is that every gem DROP from the dusties that he cuts gets a random there.

yeah i used to notice this at moss giants when i used to train there, everytime i would alch i'd get a random

 

i think its because you havent done anything for so long then the sudden change brings about the random

Just because you got a lot in one period of time doesn't mean they've changed... you just got lucky.. (or unlucky if you don't like them)

Wrong. They are not random. Despite what you may think, they are on a timer. One by one, all of my friends in edgeville got teleport randoms. When one would come back, within ten seconds, another would get it. #-o

if your in one place for a long time...like 11 minutes, then try and cut a gem, you will get a random most of the time :-k

i dont get randoms much when fighting stuff but EVERY time i try and tele somewhere i get prison pete or pinball never any other one :wall:

Why do I always seem to be the only person in the whole universe who has never noticed an increase of randoms, or was annoyed by them?

 

And yes, you're not the first one claiming this. I've seen these kind of rants for more then 1.5 years now, if everyone of those was true, we would have them every 5 seconds now (seeing there are always coming more).

80-90% of my alchs at fire giants give me randoms, I kept track at one point. And my first 19 alchs there all gave me randoms...
