July 7, 200719 yr Hey, there this is my second guide on these forums the first one wasn't a huge success as i took alot on at once, but this one is alot shorter. I have recently been at pest control getting my strength up (To 99), i have designed two tables that neatly show the xp you get from each pest point and how many of them pest points you need for the associated level.(Please note these numbers have been rounded off so it will not be the exact amount, alot of them had decimals and looked extremely confused so i rounded them off :D ) [hide=̢̢̮ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃâÃÂ¥ÃÆââââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃâÃÂ¥Xp values for Attack, strength, defence, hitpoints, ranged and magic.̢̢̮ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃâÃÂ¥ÃÆââââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃâÃÂ¥][/hide] [hide=̢̢̮ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃâæÃÆââââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃâæXp values for prayer̢̢̮ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃâæÃÆââââ¬Å¾Ã¢Ãâæ] [/hide] You will also get an extra 10 points when you cash in 100 points!, so instead of collecting 550, you would only need to get 500! saving over an hour! Something else which will brighten your pcing, you will not need the exact amount of pest points as specified here. Why?, your not getting pest points for no where. You will be getting xp in the skill you use during the game which will slowly mount up (Out of 4000 pest games, i will get 800k strength xp minimal just for getting 50 zeal!) That is the end of the guide, i hope it gives you alot of information I know some people think pest control has ruined combat but you don't need to express that opinion here there are debate forums for that 8-) Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.
July 7, 200719 yr not really a guide nice tip though! does slightly help could use tip.it's pest control calculator... : Could use a sig or avatar, PM me if intersted in making one.
July 7, 200719 yr OK wait I have a question. If you use say 100 points, does it use all 100 on the exp for that level, or when it goes to the next level give that exp? Nice guide btw, try and expand to some more stuff on pc. 7/10 Rsn: Scuba10
July 7, 200719 yr Author Yes it cashes it in all at the xp it says on the pest control reward page Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.
July 7, 200719 yr That means only have to win a couple thousand games for 99 ranged :P Very nice : catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
July 7, 200719 yr Don't post this anywhere else but here. *Corleone voice* Keep this in the family. Tip.It FTW! :D My F2P Moneymaking Guide!Always gargle before a takeoff. Wakka Wakka!
July 8, 200719 yr OK, but the tip.it pest calc got all this. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some?
July 8, 200719 yr Author The pest control planner has some of the information i have posted but not the exact amount of points you would need for that level, you can only put in 1-100 points in at a time. Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.
July 8, 200719 yr another thing to add is that you get a 10% bonus when trading in 100 points at once.
July 8, 200719 yr Author Thanks for reminding me kemi, guide has been changed Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.
July 8, 200719 yr The pest control planner has some of the information i have posted but not the exact amount of points you would need for that level, you can only put in 1-100 points in at a time. Thats true, but I rarely see people go over 100 points without cashing in, as people want lvls ASAP. The calculator also calculates zeal EXP Dungeoneering isn't a skill. July 8, 200719 yr Author ah well, atleast you got the option to choose which one to use, pest control calc for the xp you'd get for each 100 you cash in on my guide telling you the maximum amount of pest points you would need for that level Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.
July 8, 200719 yr pest control nub  jk But this is nice, but I was wondering if this is cashing in 1 at a time or 100 Rofl. My chair has a fridge, a cooler, a toilet, a shower, and a barbecue bulit in.Hey, I may have quite Runescape, but I just bought an XBOX 360 and play way to much COD4 with the Gamertag Lava Mage
July 8, 200719 yr Author It's just if you were cashing in 1 at a time, but most people know about the 10% you get when you cash in 100 sooooooooo, it's really for both Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.
July 9, 200719 yr I honestly never understood why PC is considered so good for combat it apparently ruined other training. On average, a high level player in a good team MAY get 50-60 points per hour (that requires getting 1 point per minute, and that does NOT count potential losses). Depending on your level, that would result in 70-100K exp/hour for most people. A high level player powertraining on good monsters will make just about the same amount. For example, I get about 1.2K exp per point on my melee combat skills from PC, which means about 70K/hr. And when training on sea snakes or werewolves, I can quite simply pull 54K exp on my melee skill of choice and 16K for HP, which means the same 70K exp/hr. Plus, it's much less tiring to train on monsters (can semi AFK) then to train PC which requires 100% concentration, plus you need to take into account all the drops you get. Before you say I have to take into account exp gained in PC combat itself (not rewards), I'll answer that pro pc clans or even good teams always focus on shutting down portals instead of slaying monsters, because that means round is over much faster, but you don't get much exp off the portals and occasional spinners (read-almost no exp). Sure, you can fight monsters while everyone else fights the portals, but then you are a leech off the team; you will not be admitted to good teams, and if you play in public teams any exp gain will be offset by the fact taht a team in which everyone is a leecher like you will suffer 50% or higher loss rate, meaning much less exp from the points. In short, I tried a few rounds of PC, but I'll stick to regular combat training, where I can train in peace and no pressure, gather nice drops/clue scrolls, train slayer, and get just about the same amount of exp as in PC. :-/ Live free or die. First option is exhausted, so guess what remains?
July 10, 200719 yr ah well, atleast you got the option to choose which one to use, pest control calc for the xp you'd get for each 100 you cash in on my guide telling you the maximum amount of pest points you would need for that level But calculator is exact :P Nice try anyways. July 10, 200719 yr Author Jeez why is no one curious these day?! some people prefer to pest control just cos it's faster xp and they have nothing at the time to do. But some people prefer to watch tv and train and that what bandits and other monsters are for, so it's really your decision Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.
July 10, 200719 yr Very handy table! Thank you for posting this. :) 99 Firemaking | 99 Mage | 99 Range | 99 Hitpoints | 99 Strength | 99 Attack
July 11, 200719 yr Author Yea, i'll just change it Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.

Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.
July 12, 200719 yr Author how do you get 800k str xp in 50 games O_o I don't get 800k str xp in 50 game, i get it in 4000 games the 50 is how much i would hit atleast per game (zeal) Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.

In Pest Control I can get from 50-60 points an hour. you where right on that... But i also get exp in the game. On a 1 minute game I hit an average of 200-250 damage that adds almost 1,000 damage. That means your can get almost 140k-170k an hour. And that is with a 90+ clan. Also I like your table. I started writing one about 1.5 weeks ago but I was on vacation for 8 days. And I just got back on tuesday. Guess you beat me to it :
