Sorry If im going to spell some word wrong in this, or my grammer is hard to understand, but this has bothered me to the extent that I have to let it out and talk to people. this user in youtube wrote this comment:

And for what reason, this dream she got that isn't even real, and she didn't even know if her babys would even become gay. And If they did, whats wrong with that? They grew up like that And they didn't have a Choice.

 

 

 

3. The Christians say that you have a choice to be gay or not. What the hell is up with that?? They where born that way and They didn't have a choice, Their are adults who say that when they were little kids, they were interested in stuff that their opposite gender would normally like, and when they were little they have no idea what gay or straight was. What I think about is why people believe what they believe, and Christians aren't giving me any reasons except total BS. This faith has been burned in their mind, and they don't even have any reasons to believe in it

How is it a choice? No little 6 year old could possibly choose to be gay or straight. And those people who figured it out when their where teenagers/older never said that they chose to be gay.

There are arguments either way some homosexual people say they were born that way, for example I had this friend is nursery who from a young age was a bit feminine and now he is homosexual.

 

 

 

However there are others who say it's a choice usually based on bad past experiences in their childhood. I.e. a strict mother meaning the child is attracted to the other sex and just doesn't find women attractive.

 

 

 

Or a child abuse experience for example a girl was rapped by her dad therefore she can't trust any men etc..

There's brain gender, and physical gender. If your brain works the way a female brain works, and you are male, then you have a ~1/2 chance to be gay because your female brain is attracted to men, while you physically are male. No magic in there, it is not a choice, but how much testosterone you are exposed at in the belly of your mother.

 

Of course, that's one of the theories, but they were able to prove to an extent (eg: lvls of testosterone, male/female brain caracteristics)

First of all your incrediblely ignorant for slapping the adjective of ignorant over all Christians because not everyone believes the same thing and you must know that no 2 people are the same.

Anyone can pick holes in any belief system, you can make a list like that for any believe/faith

 

 

 

Well I used to be a christian, but became an athiest after a school chapel service, when the reverend guy read a passage from Noah's Ark, then started talking about how God loves us.

 

 

 

Atheist ok... so you belive that..

 

 

 

1. There is absolutely no purpose to your life, since you die and there is nothing for you to achieve.

 

 

 

2. There is no purpose for your decisions

 

 

 

3. Your family and all your loved ones are actually none significant since you will die and end it all anyway why wait to die?

 

 

 

so yeah i got my point across i could go on for hours.

 

 

 

To the maker of this topic; please try to look from both sides of view not just bash it without giving a thought for the other side... maybe then you would realise that religions actually make sense to some people since, it gives them hope , laws to live by and comfort and a lot more..

 

 

 

Why wait to die? We were put here to enjoy life. You're suggesting I kill myself now just because I'm an athiest? You're saying that because I'm an athiest and believe in no afterlife, that I have no purpose and should just die now? Wow. Just wow.

No if your an atheist then you don't believe that you was put on earth at all, it was a lucky combination of cells, not to enjoy life but just to randomly exist and live.

 

 

 

Also I wasn't saying you should kill yourself i was speaking theoretically, making points about what I could say about atheists like that list you brought up about Christians.
