StannerHawk
Pures have ego problems. That's it. Who makes pures? People who like to 'own' others. Who likes to 'own' others? People with ego problems. I see your point about people having huge egos thinking they can "own" everybody.... Pures have to win at any cost, even spend hundreds of hours getting your STR to lvl 99 :-w The more you "Own" the bigger the ego. (until they get their report card at the end of the semester, where the teacher "owns" them :wall: Long Live RSC! FooK-A-Ji
All pures partake in head-up-your-[wagon] training, before becoming full-fledged pures. Most people with a lvl 99 in something go thru the same training course :-w
Ethiery
It's not always that way. I like to consider myself a "Barrows Pure" in a sense. It's mostly the person behind it, but bare this in mind. Most people who make pures are upset they can't PK on their main, so they make the account with a negative mind frame already, to go out there and kill. These tends to make the account as a whole keyed to negativity and the person then acts badly to those they knew. This is because they went from having fun with no constraints to now having strict constraints to meet for their "amazing godly" pure. I PK alot, and I've been told by many I've good manners, no matter what kind of PKing I'm doing, even if it's NH I don't act like a [puncture]. A man who doesn't read, is no smarter than a man who can't read.
toolskies
I think it does depend on the person. Well i only play on my pure now and im always nice to other players but i still seem to get abused and so on.. so i think there is a bit of steriotyping there now playing on l0wer cla55 =D (yes i like that name too)

123Yourgone
Much like the there is no true link between age and maturity I hear this garbage a lot and i wish i knew what moron came up with it, yes there is a link between age and maturity, maturity comes with age, you dont magically know how to act at age 6, you dont suddenly have the wisdom of a 40+ year old at age 14. You mature as you learn, you learn as you age, nobody pops out of the womb and is suddenly Friedrich Nietzsche.
neonihilist
He probably doesn't talk to you very much because hes always in the wild, which is probably why he went pure in the first place. I don't know what the point of having a "skiller pure" is, but he would talk to you more because he wouldn't always be in the wild. I think that having a pure can make someone arrogant because they will think they're the best at combat. [r]

Tell that to the 9 year old girl I met in Runescape just after I first started, and was convinced for well over a year (until she mentioned her 11th birthday earlier this year) she was at least college-aged because of her speech patterns, and general behaviour in-game :P Tell that to the 48year-old bloke who was fairly obnoxious when asked a simple question and launched into a tirade of abuse.... G_P_Kid
I'm starting to get annoyed with the amount of pure bashing being done on this topic. There is no such reason to insult a pure stating that all pures act like A-holes. Odds are, they act the exact same way on their main account. It has nothing to do with the person's defense level, but the person. I didn't say all pures, I just set alot of them seem to be rude and arrogant, saying such things as "C0m3 2 wildy n00b 1 pk u!" It annoys me when such things happen, and I don't know where you go the idea that I said all pures are idiots. Yes, some of the time it is the person, but sometimes it is not. I wasn't directing that at you for that particular reason. I specifically said the bashing going on in THIS TOPIC. Not by the topic starter.
