007freak
Ok, its driving me crazy, all the games I am waiting for are not going to be coming out for at least another 6 months. So what games would you guys suggest? I like: -FPS, and RTS games -PC games only (they can be console converts) -I DON'T like any game with aliens/lasers/anything fakey -I will try any FPS with a destructible environment no matter what it is. Games I currently have and play: -All Battlefield Games plus (Project Reality, Sandbox, Eve of Destruction, Desert Conflict, Forgotten Hope) -Runescape -Age of Empires III -Americas Army Games I currently have but don't play right now: -Warcraft 3 RoC & TFT -Starcraft + Broodwar -Empires Dawn of the Modern World -Simcity 3000 Unlimited -Golf Resort Tycoon -Sky Resort Tycoon -Railroad Tycoon -Railroad Tycoon 3 -Rollercoaster Tycoon & Loopy Landscapes -Moon Tycoon -The Sims Deluxe Edition -Sim Theme Park -Need for speed Porche Unleashed Games I have tried and did not like: -Company of Heroes (have a lot of RTS games just like it) -Quake Wars (to futuristic looking, although having good graphics) -Half life 1 and 2 (Has the fakey stuff in it) -Counter strike (Battlefield series is much better...) -Resident evil 4 (has that hole zombie theme, don't like it) -The Sims (never really liked the sims..) -Civilization 4 (amazing game, just don't like the turns aspect) -Previous Age of Empires (I love AoE 3, but going back I think I would disappointed because the graphics wont be nearly as good) -Supreme Commander (don't like it) Games I will be buying when they come out: (will wait for PC version if its a console game) -Mods for Battlefield (Forgotten Hope 2, Pirates 2, Apocalypse) -Battlefield Bad Company -GTA 4 -Starcraft II (goes against what i like but its fun...) -World in Conflict

Nadril
Too bad you don't have more of an open mind on what you enjoy/dislike, you're missing out on a ton of great games limiting yourself so much.

adam_ross0
Half life 1 and 2..Counter-Strike..and you *HAVE* To try Age of Empires 1 and 2: Age of kings. As for RTS, Try Warcraft 3..try and get the battlechest  I have another suggesion. Starcraft and SC: Brood Wars expansion are 2 great RTS..although they are sci-fi. I hated the idea of a sci-fi RTS until I tried it..if anything, download a demo or something.

Well lets see, -I have warcraft 3 Roc and TFT, but I can't stand playing it anymore, because custom games are all rigged now and they are all the same, and normal games people use really cheap strategies just to win. So I don't play anymore. -I have both starcraft games, I played them until warcraft 3 came out then I got out of it. -I really like Age of Empires 3 and I think buying a previus one would be a bad idea because there is no way they will have the same graphics as 3, so I don't think I would enjoy them as much. -as I said before I will try half life if there are demos, I am not sure about Counter Strike though. But thanks for the suggestions :)

But about AoE..yes, the graphics are terrible. But it's still an amazing game. If you like AoE3..you'll probably like 1 and 2. But if graphics are a big issue..stay away..lol
007freak
Yeah..most of the custom games are the same anymore. You have Tower Wars, sheep tag, and then everythng else. And normal games? They just rush you real early. They also do the really gay, tower outside your base thing. And yes rushing takes all the strategy out of it. But about AoE..yes, the graphics are terrible. But it's still an amazing game. If you like AoE3..you'll probably like 1 and 2. But if graphics are a big issue..stay away..lol Anymore graphics are a big deal to me, as much as I love gameplay, I have a lot of games to keep myself occupied, and I don't really wana spend my time on games with bad graphics. My computer cost me $3500, so I like to push it. And I have yet to find a game I can't play on all high settings.
adam_ross0
Well..I got anothe rgame. It's sort of high-end I guess..if you like action-rpgs, try Dark Messiah: Might and Magic..I think that's the name :? My friend has a computer that met above the requirments..and it took a lot to play it. You might like it, but it's about $30-40 right now.
Lionheart_0
My computer cost me $3500, so I like to push it. And I have yet to find a game I can't play on all high settings. Buy supreme commander and then play a multi player game with a total of 8 players (Including you) at the same time and the cap at 1000 units per player. thats 8000 units that can be moving/fight at the same time on the screen and thats not even including buildings. I'm sure that will push your computer. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Behave or I will send my Moose mounted Beaver launchers at you!
007freak
I have empires dawn of the Modern World with a 56,000 unit cap. And I maxed it out. I got a bit of lag when I started to attack, but not to much.
pfilc23
for FPS: maybe Call of Duty 1 & 2 for RTS: maybe Total War series (Shogun, Rome, Medieval) I believe demos of all can be found here: http://www.gamershell.com/download_demo.shtml (my fav demo site...all listed on one page...no registration req'd)
underu2000
Heard of Tom Clancy's Endwar? Its the newest installment of the Tom Clancy games. Its something of a MMO-RTS. Sounds pretty cool to me, and the setting is nearly identical to that of World in Conflict. Um, Gears of War is coming out for the PC, but its not ur genre. Ever try warhammer 40k? Pretty good. Oh, if patience is a virtue that you mastered, try Civ 4. They have a new expansion of some sort, that introduces sci-fi, fantasy, and more historical scenarios to play. Since you already have SCII in your agenda, why not try SC1? Furstratingly enough for me, I can't seem to find a copy in any nearby store. They're still sold out! :wall: Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.

007freak
thank you both, I am most likely not going to be looking into any of the previus Age of Empires. As I stated before I do own Starcraft I, I just don't play it anymore I will look into Civ 4, I might download the demo tomorrow.
Zonorhc
Medieval II: Total War is a good pick. There are few things more satisfying than watching French knights dash themselves like waves upon the rock that is your German pikemen. I personally was disappointed with with AoE3, as pretty much everything was based around ranged weapons, and aside from the latest exp. pack that's coming out, it's set in America. I would have been much happier if they had of just made it the same time-period as AoE1, and boosted the graphics and variety. Cool.

Biabf
When you say battlefield games do you mean Battlefield 2, Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2142? If you mean some other series, these 3 are awesome as well, I especially enjoy Battlefield 2 (its fits all your criteria), try it, I think you'll like it. gonpost
TA Spring Google it and it's the first link. It's a strategy game based upon the origional Total Annihilation, but updated graphics and gameplay. IMO it's better than supreme commander. Runescape Name: "unbug07"Expand your mind.
