He was probably tempted by the items and the money so much that he couldn't help himself. :uhh:

drop trading is what is making all these pures with horrible spelling and no common courtesy, and typing like that isn't faster, it's your fixation on it that makes it faster. we're not saying drop trading is as bad as macroing, but it's still breaking the rules. you're basically a criminal who's trying to get out of his sentence by saying some people commit worse crimes.

Sorry for wanting to keep my IQ above above at least 70... Typing the way you type is actually slower for me because I actually have to think about how to spell things wrong rather than spell things right which is second nature for me.

I don't care if you were bug abusing to gain an advantage or macroing or drop trading. You are still a rule breaker to me and I will not affiliate myself with the scum of runescape.

As for me, I've never trusted anyone on RS, thus not giving a friend the chance to scam me. I've had several chances to scam people tho. At least 2 people have given me Dragonstone Rings to enchant. I could easily have logged off and laughed, but I think it just ruins the game. I enchanted the pretty ring and gave it back. 8-)

I've lost a cannon to someone I know/knew in real life. We met in college where about 10 of us discovered runescape at the same time, you can imagine the topic of conversation at lunch times. Anyway this new guy starts college and hes a bit quiet, and it turns out he has a runescape account about the same level as the rest of us.

 

 

 

For a few months we all chatted online and in college, helped each other out when we could. When I started doing barrows I got a few items and he asked me if I could keep them for him until he can afford it, I'll do no such thing I said and gave him the items and said pay me when you got it. I did this quite a few times and I always had the money back.

 

 

 

Well I did the same with a cannon which I bought another after thinking I lost mine but it had only degraded, so I say to pay me when he can and that night he logs never to be seen again. Until I see him sitting outside the supermarket with his mother, I know his mother so I say hi and I look at him and say hi and he can't even look at me, I found this very amusing seeing him squirm in his seat, I just laughed and walked away, much more rewarding than getting my cannon back.

Ironically, the only time i've been scammed is from a rl friend, when I lent him a santa to merchant with and he got scammed (When i was over at his house he proved it by showing me his bank).

we haven't, believe it or not, but some people actually don't break the rules! i have an f2p skiller, and i've never given it anything. now i have full rune and a rune pick and wc axe on it. granted i can't use the rune, but i didn't drop trade anything. the fact that i can start over without anything from my old account is why i made the skiller. drop trading kills the fun, and it's against the rules.
