I think Jagex have also introduced a lot prayer intensive minigames and monsters, which has increased demand for prayer pots.

The prices could drop a bit if there would be more rannar seed droppers. I haven't had a rannar seed in ages because high level slayer monsters do not drop them because they are relatively a low level herb.

 

 

 

That said, I never bought a prayer pot in my runescape career. I could always sustain myself. Even sold 500 p pots at one point early on. Obviously I feel stupid now for doing that because the central dogma for runescape seems to be to never sell items that can be used for skilling.

I remember when they where 5k.... that was over two years ago now.

Dam that was 2 years back?...I've been play for too long.

 

OT: People use them more and more people are getting the required herblore level (less people selling them as Unids)

You now get fewer of them at MTK. About as many as Snapdragon.

prayer pots are used for lots of purposes. more players are spreading towards hunting and questing so therefore, more prayer pot are needed.

i just bought 1.2k... :P for 8.7k ea so expensive

with the price increase, there comes a simple solution,

 

supercompost and raanar seeds, the easiest and least inexpensive solution for the prices, as you sell more raanars, you can afford more pots,

 

 

 

which makes your raanars increase

maybe its time jagex gave us super prayer potions to lower rannars? new herbs cant be a bad thing in my mind.

New prayers, and the forthcoming new dungeon.

I think mostly to the wide use of Prayer Potions by PK'ers, beast slayers etc.

i think they will go down soon, ive seen more and more ppl trying to buy for lower prices, or it could be that they just try to lower the prices that way

And thats your reason for the price increase? I could say "All the noobs want to do Monkey Madness". But quests are not a deciding factor in the price increase. Also, why Legend's? It could relate to any quest, many quests do require prayer if you are below a certain level.

 

 

 

He means for the herblore requirement, they use prayer potions to train herblore.
