I'm not quite high enough to train myself on Jungle Ogres (Jogres), but I will definitely get to that level sometime, and your guide will surely help me when I get there. :D By the way, it's a coincidence I'm already doing one of the recommended quests (The Grand Tree), but you already knew that. :XD: Anyways, thanks for keeping up with your guides.

I'll be using them much when I get back to Combat training,

The only thing I'd suggest to make it better is to not use the same warrior/ranger picture three times. Why would a mid- to high-level wear bronze and a bronze scimitar? :P

That aside, I really like this guide. Sure, I may never use it (new addict to Slayer :-w) but it's very well-written, full of valuable tips and information, and it's laid out very cleanly. 9/10, and I'll give it a 9.5/10 if you possibly vary up those pictures. I don't believe in the "perfect guide", but you're pretty close. :)

I agree with this, show the progression of maybe mithril or rune or something. I could give you a hand with that if you want, just let me know.

I am quite impressed. Good quality guide. Bravo.

I'd like to add to the moss giant part that the mossys on Pirate's Cove are MUCH better by far. They are higher level, they have more hp, but they don't hit any more or any more often!

You'll need to have started Lunar Diplomacy to be given access.

To bank you can either bank on Lunar Isle if you have your Seal of Passage or finished Dream Mentor, or boat to Relleka, then boat to Netiznot or Jatizso (Fremmy Isles required) to bank. For food, there are fishing spots in Relleka. Although I prefer to bring about 50 casts of bones to peaches and kill the Pirates for regular bones (only reg bones work) and get peaches which heal 8. That means every pirate allows you to restore 8 hitpoints. Not any better in terms of drops, but the xp is much better. Plus you can use various items such as the little hut to block of the mossys and use safespots. (I've also found you can use other mossys as barriers, silly giants...)

If you wish to fish, I would fish in Relleka, then use the fire in the townhall to cook (I think it works, if not use the ones on Jatizso or cut a tree in Netiznot).

An alternative would be to buy food from the shop on Jatizso.

However, the bones to peaches method is really only good for higher levels, but fishing at Relleka is good for all! Buying the food would be a great choice also, it would be my second option. The bank is on the way there too, so there is no hassle banking.

Getting to Relleka is a bit of a bother. You could fairy ring to Miscellenia and boat to Relleka. You could Lyre or house tele also. Also there is a fairy ring by the Slayer Cave, which is close to Relleka also. Or you can tele to Cammy and walk. If you are on Lunars you can tele there.

Again, great guide, I just wanted to add that little tip.

Maybe also include xp per hour? Just time for 10 minutes and multiply by 6 :D

Thanks zaaps. However, I was intending this guide for lower levels, and most "lower levels" haven't done Lunar Diplomacy. So I went to the one readily accessible to everyone.

This has got to be one of the best guides I've seen on Tip.It.

Everything is absolutely perfect. Plenty of pictures and plenty of information.

I'll never use the guide (I'm past the Mid-Level range), buts its great!

Nice work, keep it up 8-)

Wow.

You've written a great guide here, but I have one (personal) problem. Reading through this sorta makes me feel like i'm being treated as an idiot. I understand that you're just being informative but do we really need to be told 9 different ways to use a glider/spirit tree?

Don't take this the wrong way - i'm not trying to insult your guide, Just made me wonder if I was a few years to old to be reading it.

Some people really just don't know. For those that do, you can skip over the getting there part. Just like it's common sense to some people to hold control down while clicking to run, and to others it's revolutionary. :)

True. And I don't think many have Bones to Peaches either. But part of the title was higher levels, so I decided to add it.

Besides, you don't have to finish big, long, and annoying, you just have to start it up to the part to the ship. That's hardly any of it. Perhaps the only difficult part would et 66 magic and 61 crafting. And I think those aren't so bad to get. Getting 66 mage at MTA will probably get you Bones to Peach as well (from 60ish magic).

Maybe a part about Ice Trolls too? Food is just about the same as Pirate's Cove Mossys (just without the bones to peach option) and only requires the beginning of Fremmy Isles, which I'm sure many people have started if not finished.

1) Awesome guide. I once tried training Jogres; a total mess. Your guide made it clear and great, to sound like one of those annoying commercials :)!

2) You can CTRL-click to run? Revolutionary!

Goals: Quest cape, skill range 10 or less, all stats above 60. (Although yes, I am aware that in order to do the first two, I have to do the third.)

I am sick and tired of people asking me to put stuff in my signature. If you agree with me, do NOT put this in your signature.

thought twas quit dead by now

Great great great guide. Quite an enjoyable read, even though its of little use to me now. Wish it was out back when I could of used it :?

Still a great guide.

Maybe next add in something for higher levels players and Fire Giants, Green dragons, blue dragons and Maybe Iron dragons. Each spot can train all 3 combats and prayer as well.

Apparently, my signature was to big.

Great guide, i might try jogres at some point

Hmmm....

I need a new siggy, get round to doing it later.

Probably.

Dude, that's one hell of a guide!!!

And i'm gonna use it too ^^

Sorry to break your fun here but you will have to explain how training at jogres could possibly be better then training at moss giants.

Moss giants pros:

- Moss giants actually have more health, so that's more xp.

- Moss giants are weaker

- You can eat faster at moss giants, and need to eat less. No need to save many invent spaces for pinnaple slices.

- More xp an hour since you hit them better.

Jogres pros:

- Somehow closer from a bank, but your training method doesnt require banking so that is irrevelent.

- Alot less crowded but it's still easy to find an empty world at moss giants

- May have better drops but they're very similar. And we're here for xp.

- Slightly faster prayer xp if you are a really high level and hit them as much as you hit moss giants. if not it's actually less xp.

- Hidden pro I'm unnaware of?

This is just how I see it if they really are worth the trouble please explain how :o

If you cant tell why they're better to train at I suggest you replace jogres in your guide by Moss Giant(lvl48).

This magificient (and mossy) beast has 25 more hitpoints then regular moss giants and only is 6 levels higher. However it requires good stats to access and that is why it would be high level.

Pros:

- More health so more xp per giant

- Alot less crowded then regular moss giants.

- They can be safespotted easilly.

Cons:

- No reliable source of healing but the bank is pretty close and I'm sure anyone can afford training food.

Now it's all up to you :XD:

edit: Re-read trough the thread and saw this had already been suggested but my point still stands. If jogres where meant to be used by "High levels" as stated in your guide then why shrug on lunar diplomacy? And then if it's a lower levels guide moss giants is real fine for them! It's a good training spot up to until you hit 25 each hit! And since they have more health and a lower combat level they definitly are better for xp then jogres.

Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.
