Featured Replies

i normally log onto runescape about once a week to do manage thy kingdom and i just noticed flax now going for 60-80gp each. for the longest time i always found it so easy to sell for 100gp.

so what happened in the last month?

currently with 60k flax, so hoping maybe this is temp? not looking forward to missing out on over a 1m gp i could have had if i sold my supply early.

but how are autoers making such an impact now when i do believe flax has been 100gp for at least 2 years

There should be less when there are JAGeX Moderators in the flax field and Catherby hopping to ban them all for hours at a time...

The quantity of flax brought in by bots is starting to surpass the level of demand. This leads to a plummet in prices.

Pretty much what Dragon said.

Thread terminated.

I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator?

i believe theres a rant about you in the rants forum

Flax and Bowstrings used to be like, the most reliable way to make money... now with all these bots its going to pretty much ruin a prime way for the average joe to make money.

EDIT: the topic is "supply and demand" (im not supporting it just telling you that this guy has a problem with you now lol)

I hope these filthy autoers get b& :notalk:

hmm yeah autoers, they damage rs ecomony, shame really...

I would just keep it, im sure in the near future jagex is going to solve the macroing problem and prices should go back to normal.

Im loving the drop =D> You can buy flax, spin it all, and double your money + some more! For doing basicly nothing \'

As 12une said (sort of - he suggested spinning flax in general), spin it. If you've already horded a ton of flax, spinning is the best idea; even if in the forseeable future jagex does something to dampen the flax autoers, you'll still make over 10m from making those in to bowstrings.

And yeah, if you're just deciding what to put into your kingdom, flax is pretty much out of the question now. You'll do better with 100% herbs 50% coal/maples.
