Stay cool, don't act like a geek and don't act like you know everyone and everything.

Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.

If I've learnt anything in life it's that how terribly nervous you are about something never matters as it never seems to materialise into how bad you expect it to be. So basically, your brain prepares for the worst in all situations even though the worst often never comes true.

Just relax and get through the first few days to start. Easier said then done, I know.

Don't worry about how you should react. There are two things you can worry about. Things you have immediate control of, and things you don't. There's absolutely no use worrying about things you have no control of, and rather than worrying about things you do have control of, get working on controlling or taking care of your worries. In your place, you have no control over what things will be like at your school, so don't worry about it. Just talk to people, be friendly and make friends. Don't sweat it, you're there to have fun, make friends, and learn.

Don't pretend to be someone you're not. When people get to know you, they'll know you were posing. Just be friendly.

Just relax, it isn't hard.

I got used to going to a different school every 2 years or so, except for one which I was at for 5. It isn't terribly hard once you get used to it.

school is a joke, here is my 5 step plan

stand up for yourself

go to class

do work

pass class

leave school

Probably doesn't apply, but when I went to my (first) Uni for the first time, I was unpacking, like everyone else, so I brought a bag of sweets and shared them around. Good ice-breaker.

^ Werd, and make sure it's good candy.

So avoid giving away Skittles at all costs

I'll pretend I didn' read that and go back to shamefully enjoying Timbaland's new album, which I never thought I would, but can't stop myself from liking ::'
