What is the most depressing song you've ever heard?

I'd like to know what it is. I could use some depression in my life right now, I'm so

damn happy it's ridiculous. Please give the name of the song, and the artist?

I myself will keep it a secret, because I'm afraid if anyone listened to it they'd get

the urge to kill themselves, and then who would I talk to when I can't get a date for

Friday night?

In the interest of saving space, though, I will cause this to become a two part thread,

in which I also ask at what temperature do you usually keep your house, because! it's

76 degrees in my house right now, but it feels like -12 and I can't feel my hands or feet,

I think I'm going to cry.

My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race.

However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.

Mad world is quite depressing :|

Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.

I'll err...move this to M&M, since it's mostly about music.

Leonard Cohen's knocked out some depressing tunes in his time, check some of them out.

Oh yeah and my bedroom (i've got a digital thermometer in there) is normally 18 degrees Celsius during the day and 20 at night.

"Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

Cat Stevens - Cats in the Cradle

Death Cab for Cutie - I Will Follow You Into the Dark

Opeth - Weakness (To be honest, I've never listened to the lyrics, but the music is depressing.)

I don't know. A lot of doom metal is depressing.

Also, when you've just broken up with someone, any love song is depressing. :)

And there is no constant temperature in my house. I have two reverse-cycle air conditioners, not those air conditioning things that have outlets into every room, so you don't just put in a particular temperature and leave it at that.

Cool.

:?

Pink Floyd - Nobody Home

Syd Barrett - Dark Globe

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Abattoir Blues

Temperature is 20 degrees celcius

When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

Do you mean fahrenheit lol? I hope so or you're gonna be cooking good.

There's no thermometer in my room so I don't know what temp it is in there.

My car is usually kept about 20-22 ̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâðC / 68-72 ̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâðF

The office seems to be hovering about 23 ̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâðC / 73 ̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâðF

73 ̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâðF is over 24 ̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâðC thats not cold lol. Wimp.

Depressing songs? Like someone else said, Mad World is quite depressing, but why would you WANT to make yourself depressed? :-k

Oh, and I dont know what temperature my house usually is sorry.

Just enjoy your happiness. I think my room is usually about 15 degrees, I always have the window open. Plus my mum is tight about burning the leckie.

La lune ne garde aucune rancune.

Jeff Buckley's version of 'Hallelujah'

Samuel Barber's 'Adagio for strings'

A friend to all is a friend to none.

I'd say enjoy being happy, because you may be very happy because ahead their are very, very dark times...

Lol only joking, but seriously there is no need to depress yourself.

Welcome Home (Sanitarium) by Metallica is quite depressing. Also, as someone already said, Mad World is very depressing.

"Winston! You are drunk!"

"Yes, and you are ugly, but tomorrow I will be sober."

Look ma! No piccies in the siggie!
