Yes well, for those who are religous and for those of us that are not, it can be taken either way. Though as we can see this is the Media Board and we should be discussing the piece of media and how it was put together not the contents that are within it. This is my opinion but I believe that the piece should be judge not the person as it seems we are doing.

I feel any religious or political signatures shouldn't be allowed. The main reason is to grab attention most likely by pissing people off - if you want to grab attention, do it with your skills.. not some gimmic.

But seriously, if one can't wear a slightly (in lack of better synonyms) controversial signature without being labelled as someone with "teenage angst", then, what the hell? And as I said earlier, I don't want people to get upset or offended by my signature; as that was in no way, shape or form my intention. I just liked the message it conveyed (... not killing Jesus) - and I thought it was pretty cool. If the man asks for input on his quote, and his quote is clearly referring to a religious issue, what exactly are we to do? Perhaps his whole thread should be moved there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is a religious issue. You don't slap pictures of Jesus on things and make a quote about it and expect it not to get into religious discussion. And Azvy, if you don't believe in it, why don't you go PROSTITUTE the images of something you DO believe in just for attention and leave Jesus out of it? Or at least let people say what they want about it without getting an attitude. If you want to use it fine. But once you suggest the whole topic, ask for feedback on the quote ,etc. don't act surprised and indignant when people take you up on it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh and for those following along at home "sensitive" does not mean saying "I respect everyone", then saying anyone who doesn't agree with you should shut up, grow up etc. So stop pretending to be sensitive and just say your opinion. Sorry Azvi, but you did kind of get yourself into this. The fact that you asked for input on the quote was what made this post go wrong. For future reference, all posts in the media board are generally directed towards the artistic value of the piece. While most art is debatable, this became a bit too much. Again, move it to the Off-Topic Board I'll have no problems.
