I thought the problem would just go away on its' own, but now it seems to have grown with a vengeance. At the moment, I have about 1776 valid and countable posts, as displayed by my sidebar next to any post I have put, yet my profile page only shows 1767. My profile page was only updating about every 3 or 4 posts up until about 2 hours ago, and now it has just stopped updating totally. I hope this problem can be solved sometime soon, because I have this fear that it is only the precursor of far worse problems within the forum server and its' software. Logging off for the day. I will check this thread in about 24 hours. ~Mr. D. V. When the cache flushes, it updates itself. Your post count does NOT matter. This is not a server issue, its a server FEATURE to reduce load. As I mentioned in the other thread, I use my post count only as a statistical tracker, and it has been one I've been glad to have. It would be nice if the forum staff could be left alone to concentrate on more important issues that actually affect multiple users in a serious way. Have you considered trying to limit your post count in this forum to once a week? That would be great. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
