This new reality show just aired today, 18 minutes ago. My So. honors English teacher reccomended it to us and I remembered it because an ad came up for it on tip.it :lol:

40 kids, ages 8-15, no adults, 40 days.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In my opinion, the show organizers set it up horribly by pretty much forcing the kids into a Society class-orientated capitalism.

 

 

 

A type of communism would be alot better, eliminate the council group, have the counsel decide everyone's jobs, and split all the money equally.

 

This way kids would still be able to give each other money (such as dancing Sophia today) and still have some competition(for the gold star).

My mom rushed us home from our grandma's so my little brother could watch it. Me? I walked straight past the TV to do some exercising.

There's obviously adults there...The cameramen, the producers...heck, the people in charge are probably telling them exactly what to do to make 'good tv' (psssh).

Well, of course there are some, but they aren't affecting much of the community (aside from basically setting up the government :x )

 

 

 

I pretty much expected all the kids to act the way they did, I didn't see anything that was forced to much, I just wish a smart 15year old would reorganize everything and shove it in the producer's face. (Greg isn't going to do that in my opinion)

Reality tv isn't real enough for me. Too much of it is planned and it isn't even reality. Imo, I'll watch hours of music videos on IMF or Fuse before I'll watch reality tv..

If there really was no ADULT INTERFERENCE, I think it would be somewhat like Lord of the Flies. No one really has any skills, they need one uber strong person to lead the rest, and hopefully no one goes crazy in the fight for power.

 

 

 

BUT... since that is WAY too harsh, I guess this will piss me off.

I applied for the second one with my cousin. So if we get on, I'll tell you guys if it's fake or not.

Ok, for anyone who hasnt seen it, if you dont like little kids or ignorance or whining, then dont watch. Though if you like watching kids suffer (slightly), then watch.

 

 

 

Though to show a bit of fakeness, if the kids arent sleeping that well and not eating that well, how do they have all the energy they have?

 

 

 

OOH! Idea! They should do an Oregan Trail (old computer game for those who dont know. wiki it or something) with kids! Think about it an hour of side scrolling every week. Especially if everything that happens in Oregan Trail happens to them. Theyre going along, then the wagon stops, and on the screen it says "little Jimmy contracted SARS" or something... Wow that really sounded alot more brutal that I thought it would...
