i hate griffball with a passion

I liked it the first weekend it came out. I just happened to be at a friend's for his birthday, so there were a few other people. It was absolutely awesome to play with your 2/3 other teammates sitting right beside you. Now I just find it boring and at times useless, probably because I hate the hammer.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

Well in grifball you have no shields, so hammers here can get you from further out.

Even more reason for me to hate it. Every time I try to play it for a Double XP weekend, I have to get used to the timing again. I love running with the ball, but I hate the fact that it's hammer only until someone is running with the ball.

Believe me, I can do it with a hammer... Have you ever played with me? \'

the only use i can see for the sword is to attack the ball carrier easily given the long lunging range.

what id give for a sniper during griffball...

I wouldn't do that if I was you, especially if you play me...

how much would all of this go for:

-xbox 360 (its not the arcade version, but its not the elite either. forgot the name)

-2 wireless controllers

-wireless adapter

-headphone/mic

-halo 3

-4 months of xbox live on the 360

-few hundred ms points

-a halo 3 account ranked colonel grade 3 with all achievements

Aw, we never got to play together.....

Anyways, if you've got the 20GB model, that's about $200 something new, a little less used. A headset could probably go for $10, Wireless adapter is something like $50 I think, Halo 3 $49.99 probably, MS points are what, $10 for 800? Then the account could probably be worth $50 or more. And the controllers would maybe be $10-20 each. So that makes, by my estimate, $380-$400.

$400 is a bad deal, considering i bought it all a year ago for $500.

i might be selling it, but im not sure. ill get it back from microsoft in a week or two.

But things get older, theres better stuff, and considering that this is the 20GB, it will be going down in price

Would it be better to just buy a new xbox instead of getting it repaired? Not a free repair, of course. I heard they've fixed the RROD on the newer models, right?

if you can pawn your broken 360 off to someone for a good deal, then yeah go for the new one. supposedly the defect isnt in any of the new models.

mine got repaired for free though.

So, the new version is now 'Perfect'?

i dont know, i havent gotten it back yet.

im hoping that since it should be near perfect, that if i decide to sell it i can sell for higher.

But that was an old xbox, not the new one. From what I understood was that you fixed your old xbox, but are thinking of buying a new one, that is supposedly perfect that willl never have a component failure.

Yup, even M$ knows that it's best to just get a new one. When mine RRoD'd in February, I sent it in because the warranty still applied. It went all the way down to Texas, wasting about 2 weeks time. They didn't even attempt to fix it, they just trashed it, put a new one in the box, and sent it back.
