October 5, 200718 yr As you wrote, it's 104 essence per super energy, but the first time you calculated 52 essence per energy, so it makes about 503m. Otherwise, pointless topic really, you could make a lot more money these days with various methods in less time(and less monotonous). Also, why post FFL? it's useless now. First to 99 Farming on 27. Thanks for pointing that out! That really brings the total profit up to almost exatcly 500m. I posted FFL due to a request earlier on, and because I actually enjoy doing these calculations. As to the 'pointless topic', I posted for people who are interestid in runecrafting or moneymaking through runecrafting. And pray tell, what are the 'lots more methods'? I want to know, I need money. October 5, 200718 yr Calculations are fairly accurate. If you wear weight bonuses and have a decent agility level (65+) you can easily do 3 trips per super energy pot. From my experience going for 99 xp rate was roughly 17k p/hr average through the abyss. A perfect hour would net you roughly 4.4K nats and 20k p/hr xp. Sold those and got a set + more. At the time blues were around 60M. It's still a good way to make constant cash.
October 5, 200718 yr Author What is the FFL method? FFL is trading law runes and noted essence for more essence, over and over again. You make laws really fast, but it's not really worth the money imo. Calculations are fairly accurate. Anyways, I'm using supers (3), were you too? I also have a lower agility level, but you don't really have time to charge your energy, as you're running most of the time. My calculations were almost exactly 2 supers per glory, which is one per two loads. Time yourself, if you're interested in proving me wrong, I can always use new data. October 5, 200718 yr Can't believe you forgot to calculate a single thing. The factor time. Every hour you save by using the FFL before 91 is added to the time you can create double nature runes after 91. If you save 20 hours, this means 20 hours x 2 natures is added to the profit of double natures in the FFL method. Ofcourse experience/hour gain is personal and variable. But heck, if I can make 700k a hour. And I lose 150m.. Then I would have to save 150.000.000 / 700.000 hour by using the FFL or more for the FFL method to be the best money effective way. Now shame on you and do the calculations again :shame: :P
October 5, 200718 yr Author I'm just calculating straight through to 99. If you did FFL and then did natures for the same amount of time you would without FFL, of course you'd make money. However, I'm assuming that you stop once you reach 99, so you make less money from the FFL method. And I'm not going to do my calculations again :D Being immature is a part of being mature.
October 17, 200718 yr FFL is trading law runes and noted essence for more essence, over and over again. You make laws really fast, but it's not really worth the money imo. There's also a FFL method where you trade law runes for pure essence, without giving noted ess back. World 99 uses that. That way you don't actually spend much money on getting to 91, you just need 28 laws to start with. You don't make money then, but don't lose it either. That would cut the costs of getting to 91.
October 17, 200718 yr To make 2 loads of ruenss (via the abyss) I only ned to crink i regular restore every 2trips. My tip: - I wear nothing but a bronze pickaxe, boot ligthness, spottiest cape, duel ring, glory,4 pouches and the essences. - No armour. If I get pked with teleblock then too bad for me(only if I m tele blocked otherwise it is possible with a little trainign to tele with glory between hits. I die about once a week with 2 hours rc a day - If i am on the opposite face of the nats altar then i mlake death to avoid the extra running (on top of it it is more xp) - i drink the pot when running from bank to wilderness. 2 doses up to house and 1 beween hosue and wildernes to avoid stopping my runnning) With this i craft around 2k runes per hour
October 17, 200718 yr The super energies are not needed. All you need to do is run without d hide and you will be (almost) just as fast. Of course i get pked more often but 10 glories is nothing compared to saving 26 mill in this case. Achieving top speed for 1 hour and then exhausting yourself is not as important as obtaining a good sustained rate for hours on end. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! True, but that's slower than FFL66, and if I was going to bore myself to death, I'd at least get it over with fast. I prefer to get fast EXP over not losing money, if I'm going to make that much anyways. To make 2 loads of ruenss (via the abyss) I only ned to crink i regular restore every 2trips. My tip: - I wear nothing but a bronze pickaxe, boot ligthness, spottiest cape, duel ring, glory,4 pouches and the essences. - No armour. And I prefer to not be pk'ed. It's not only losing the money that gets me, it's the time that you could spend making nats that you instead need to spend getting your pouches back. Also, normal restores are hard to find. The super energies are not needed. Again, the time needed to get the pouches back every time you're pk'ed is worse than the money it costs you, because you're simply wasting time. Also, it's possible to keep up your top speed constantly. Hard, but possible. I always send PM's/CC messages while attempting the obstacles, so it doesn't slow me down. I also listen to high-energy music, etc. to keep me going fast. You're right about sustained being better than exhausting though. Since the crafter to runner ratio on that world is so high, experience there is barely faster, if not the same speed as, than abyss crafting natures. Never thought about that. Simply another reason not to use it, IMO =D 670M Blue P hat here I come I think it's Godswords and Barrows for me, personally. I've never had much stock in rares, although I would like to have a phat. After I have bought combat gear/items for various 99's, I'd like to keep runecrafting (if I can) and get a blue, and maybe a santa and a mask. Being immature is a part of being mature.

Ok, when you get tbed and then entangled (in the reverse, you can tele before the tb), you should always drop the pouches and assume you'll die. If you get lucky, then you can run into the abyss before he kills you, and then immediately get to edgeville and go back to recover your pouches. That way you never lose them and so you end up not wasting time. Don't ever risk losing your pouches, you are correct that the time you waste is huge. I do also agree, music is the way to go. Although I watch movies while I rc. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed!
